I prefer the Dieppe market to the Moncton one because there's more space to move around. Of course it is still crowded but I don't feel quite as claustrophobic here. Vegans look for: Nirvana Nutrition: She makes beautiful, delicious and healthy cheesecakes, macaroons, cookies and more. Cindy is a total sweetheart too. Red Earth Kitchen: also at the Moncton market. Amazing vegan desserts, soups, veggie meatballs and burgers in the to go fridge. Absolutely decadent sweets, some of the best I've ever had. There's a vendor that does sorbet which is vegan. And several vendors that do Indian food and falafels and stuff that I haven't inquired about but assume there may be some vegan options there. Nico's bakery most of their regular breads are vegan and they make vegan cookies but I didn't see them when I was there but they could have sold out. Of course fresh produce vendors are there as well. Adorable chocolate offer vegan chocolate, most of their dark chocolate is safe. And there's a place with fresh juices and smoothies. Lots to choose from for sure.

visited Aug 30th…read more very very rude guy serving us at the counter......on our entire 10 day road trip through NB, met nothing but friendly and cheerful fellow Canadians, great east coast culture, great food unfortunately this guy was the exception, ordered 2 seafood cakes and 2 lobsters and asked him to half and crack for us as explained that we were on a camping trip and had no means to crack the lobster.......we received the dirtiest look and once prepped and bagged, he literally shoved it in my hands and told me to get out with a "buh bye" ps. the seafood cake tasted like crap also, mainly potatoes and batter, i would recommend avoiding this place completely

Creamy and filled to the brim with fruits of the sea. Just when I thought there had to be potatoes in my spoon, my mouth was met with scallops on scallops on scallops. I love the way the restaurant prepared their lobster, minimally, as to preserve the natural texture and flavor of the ocean. The fries are made from locally grown potatoes, fried to crisp on the outside, starchy and squishy on the inside. The bacon tightly wrapped around the scallops, adding a sweet and salty note to a soft pillow. The mussels were bouncy meaty but was paired with a white wine sauce infused with an herb that we were not fans of (perhaps tarragon?). The 15-20min wait was well worth the meal. The bustling environment was telling of its popularity among locals and tourists. Takeout available and it also sells and packages freshly captured seafood to go.

Came around 3pm. Not a single customer there. But the place looked pretty clean. They have clams, scallops, shrimp, chicken, lobster rolls, cheeseburger, chicken fingers, and poutine. I noticed they also have a new butter chicken dish along with flavors of crispy chicken flavored with different sauces. There's plenty of parking in a very large shopping center where they're located. The place didn't smell at all, which is good since it's a seafood place. They have a gender neutral bathroom. They do Uber Eats & Grubhub. They speak Mandarin Chinese. They must fry them fresh after breading them. I heard them fry my clams about 5 minuets after I ordered, and they fried them for about 2 minutes. I asked for a cup of water and they gave me a small cup of water. They're clams were good it included clam strips and bellies. It was very lightly battered, and not greasy! The clams were also not chewy at all. I don't think their business is doing very well. They have a big sign in their window that says "business for sale" and there's real estate papers advertising the property for sale. I was so full after eating the clams. I think they gave me about a pound of clams. There's only about 4 tables inside that sit about 3-4 people. I think they're mostly a take-out spot.

The clams were pretty good but I think they could have been cooked a touch longer. They weren't undercooked, the batter was just pale looking. I'd rather that than overcooked though. My son wrote this paragraph: The chicken 3 piece is good for on-the-bone chicken, it's cooked perfectly, nice and juicy, but the skin is much too greasy for my taste. (This coming from a guy who loves KFC and McDonalds...) We also had a sugar doughnut each. They were perfect and tasted like homemade. I'd go back just for the doughnuts! We had our order to go so I can't really comment too much on the restaurant. There were a few seats, looked clean.

Best lobster rolls in new brunswick if not in maritime…read more I traveled 3 provinces in the maritime and this place blew me away. Once walking in you are greeted with a smile from collin and the authenticity of the hard working lobster fisherman and all his trophies everywhere. There is tons of art here made out of the shells of the lobster. The lobster rolls are amazing here. After ordering he picks up a lobster and cuts it up right in front of you. Chops it all up, toasts the bun and its ready to go. Takes some time. But there's noting fresher than this. Honestly 1 isn't enough and we ended up getting rolls every time we drove at this place. This place is a must if your driving through alma to go to fundy national park. I wish I could go back here already bc there's just nothing like it!

Greasy tasty fish & chips!…read more Deluxe Fish & Chips (aka Deluxe French Fries) is a popular fish & chips restaurant chain with locations throughout New Brunswick and Truro, Nova Scotia. I know some people enjoy the fish & chips here, but others don't care for it, a love/hate thing. Deluxe now offers their fish & chips two ways: 1) Famous English-Style (Battered) and 2) now Crispy Light Breaded, you choose! Besides fish & chips, they also offer other fried seafood (scallops, clams), burgers, chicken fingers, poutines, lobster rolls, and Pepsi fountain pop. The fries are fresh cut. A Breakfast menu is served from 7AM-11AM. Specials and family meals are offered. The prices here seem reasonable. The place has a typical fast food restaurant atmosphere with counter (open food prep area with fryers) & overhead lighted menu boards and self serve seating. Free wifi is offered here (with a password). I stopped here for lunch before heading to the mall across the street. I ordered the 2 Piece Fish & Chips Special ($5.49 plus tax/normally $6.59), English-style! I was also asked by the cashier if I wanted to enter a drawing for a free iPad (a way to get your information), but I told her I live in the United States and not eligible to win. My order was ready in under 10 minutes and I decided to eat-in. The 2 pieces of golden battered fish had a very crispy/greasy coating outside and hot and oily inside, flaky moist texture. The light golden fries were nice & crispy and not too greasy. The food was tasty, especially the fries, but the fried fish pieces were very greasy and oily. It'll be crispy light breaded instead of English-style battered for my next order at Deluxe. WEBSITE: http://www.deluxefrenchfries.net
