While I wouldn't recommend their matcha soft serve (tasted more like a kit kat), the mango one wasn't bad! Their strawberry shortcake didn't really have any pieces in it and taste more like just strawberry. Overall, I'd say stick to the ice cream instead --- the standout being their going to the movies one which did taste like butter popcorn and pretzels, and was pretty unique. Staff are friendly and the lineup goes fast during the warm weather.

I am not well versed in Filipino food, but each bite was delicious and familiar. Only feedback is that some of the dishes were a little more salty than my personal preferences. I usually order their fish and chips, and for my money, the Rendezvous offers the best fish and chips I have ever had. The fish is especially delicious - it's fresh and the batter is exceptionally light. Other items from the menu are also very good, according to people I've been with who have ordered them. The portions are generous but if you still have room, the ice cream is not to be missed. The location is extremely peaceful, next to an estuary by a small bridge. Although this is a takeout restaurant, there is a large screened in area with tables and chairs where you can sit and watch as the tide goes in and out, as well as several picnic tables outside. I highly recommend that you try the Rendezvous. I don't think you will be disappointed.
