I had Acadian style Cajun Gumbo with shrimp, chicken and sausage served on a bed of rice pilaf. Hominy corn soup with chicken in a broth. Killer Seafood Chowder seasoned perfectly. Chicken Fricot is shredded chicken and potato soup. For dessert Acadian Poutine a Trou a bread filled with apples, raisins and cinnamon covered in a cinnamon, butter and brown sugar sauce. Was the best food on the island other than the typical seafood, which is also great!! A truly unique and delicious dining experience. I would recommend to anyone coming to PEI. Very affordable!

Does she wash her unsanitary hands in the nearby sink? No, instead she contaminates a new pair of gloves with her unsanitary hands. Needless to say, I did not purchase any deli meat by this inconsiderate and substandard employee. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. That is why there is a sink right next to you. No excuse for such poor food handling etiquette.

I prefer the Dieppe market to the Moncton one because there's more space to move around. Of course it is still crowded but I don't feel quite as claustrophobic here. Vegans look for: Nirvana Nutrition: She makes beautiful, delicious and healthy cheesecakes, macaroons, cookies and more. Cindy is a total sweetheart too. Red Earth Kitchen: also at the Moncton market. Amazing vegan desserts, soups, veggie meatballs and burgers in the to go fridge. Absolutely decadent sweets, some of the best I've ever had. There's a vendor that does sorbet which is vegan. And several vendors that do Indian food and falafels and stuff that I haven't inquired about but assume there may be some vegan options there. Nico's bakery most of their regular breads are vegan and they make vegan cookies but I didn't see them when I was there but they could have sold out. Of course fresh produce vendors are there as well. Adorable chocolate offer vegan chocolate, most of their dark chocolate is safe. And there's a place with fresh juices and smoothies. They are kind, understanding and great at what they do!! That being said, I went in today to get my glasses adjusted, and while there inquired about getting new lenses put into my current frames as I really like them and there is nothing wrong with them. Brian quickly found my info, and told me the price which was around $100.00, which is reasonable. It is, however, corporate policy to charge $40.00+ taxes extra for a customer that just wants to use their current frames!!! What kind of money hungry, BS is that? Considering that I am a current customer and take my entire family there for their optical needs as well, this seems like a quick cash grab just because the corporation can get away with it!! THIS IS A DISGRACEFUL TACTIC!!! ATLANTIC SUPERSTORE OPTICAL DIVISION NEEDS TO REVISE THESE INSIDIOUS POLICIES !!!

visited Aug 30th…read more very very rude guy serving us at the counter......on our entire 10 day road trip through NB, met nothing but friendly and cheerful fellow Canadians, great east coast culture, great food unfortunately this guy was the exception, ordered 2 seafood cakes and 2 lobsters and asked him to half and crack for us as explained that we were on a camping trip and had no means to crack the lobster.......we received the dirtiest look and once prepped and bagged, he literally shoved it in my hands and told me to get out with a "buh bye" ps. the seafood cake tasted like crap also, mainly potatoes and batter, i would recommend avoiding this place completely
