That seems absolutely absurd, considering if there was an emergency the business SHOULD have active phones. Honestly, it seemed Iike the guy had no idea or care about what I was asking him today, even though he was standing there with a wet post it pad and a pen. He scribbled down the barcode number I showed him from a picture and walked away after asking if I wanted a sticker for a vehicle that has dealership loaner stickers all over it. What?!?! I can honestly tell you this guy did not care at all about anything. If he's a member of the family, they might've given them the job as a token but if he's a hired employee, this guy should be fired. Empathy was not even a thing here. Irving is pretty good and is my 2nd choice for gas in the area. The onsite convenience store is named "Red Lantern" and not the typical "Circle K" like most of the Irving's have. I did not go in the store this time but will update here another time. I did notice that this Irving's gas is a few cents more than the other Irving down on Rt 28.

But today, the prices on the pump clearly showed regular at 3.25.9 per gallon. When I looked at the display on the pump, it showed 3.29.9 per gallon. I went in and they did give me my 35 cents back. But how many customers didn't notice this and paid the extra money. At the end of the day, Irving did quite well. I'm sure they did hundreds, if not thousands of sales. Multiply it by 4 cents a gallon. Hey, as a retiree, it's better in my pocket than theirs. And besides, gasoline on the east coast went down by 4 cents a gallon.
