I cannot recommend Fernando and N7 highly enough. My wife and I had three decks replaced on our…read morehome in Beverly, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. Fernando was consistently professional, communicative, honest, and respectful of both us and our home. He remained fully focused on our project--his crew worked in cold conditions for 8-12 hours a day and even put in weekends to keep things moving. He was also punctual (yes, a contractor who is actually punctual), which we truly appreciated. Living by the water adds complexity, and Fernando handled all permitting and coordination with the conservation board seamlessly. Most importantly, the quality of the finished work is outstanding. If you're looking for a contractor you can trust to do things right, Fernando and N7 are exceptional.

After having multiple negative experiences with local contractors, we are so thankful that we found…read moreFernando and his team at N7 Construction. N7 was one of the options Yelp recommended companies that responded when I submitted a project through their "Projects" section. This meant that going with the company even had a guarantee backed satisfaction. To further ease concerns about making the right choice, when speaking with Fernando who owns N7, he was very helpful to provide references to reach out to, examples of past projects, and links to his website and work. He was able to come out rather quickly to survey the land and get a better understanding of the project. Communication was strong not only throughout the initial phase of being provided a quote and deciding to move forward with N7, but also throughout the project itself. Fernando was great at reviewing all questions related to the contract and is willing to be flexible per individual household needs on timing and even payments. We were adding a second floor deck with roof off of a room converting a window to a door and also some stone landscaping work for a patio underneath the deck. Upon agreeing to move forward with N7, we entered a phase of waiting for appropriate permits. During this time, Fernando was great at ensuring he is gathering the right materials for the project to kick off construction as soon as the permits are approved. And that is exactly what happened. Fernando and his team showed up early and worked efficiently throughout the length of the project. They even took shifts for lunch so someone was working at all times. The team also worked on Saturday's to ensure the project remained on schedule. Everyone was so friendly and my dog loved them all too. Fernando will work with you throughout the project should something need to be changed or is not to your liking. When we didn't like the door selected for our project, he was flexible to help us select and obtain the desired door. The only small issue we had was from some of the outsourced parts of the project. The individual chosen for inside work of wall repair and painting from the window to door conversion did have personal issues arise causing him to miss days he was supposed to arrive. We obviously understand things come up, but he didn't effectively communicate that to us or Fernando. That is out of Fernando's control though. And when the original team set to do the patio stone work backed out, Fernando quickly found an alternative group who was also friendly, efficient, and did beautiful work. Overall, I am very impressed with Fernando and N7 Construction. We will definitely be using them for future projects and recommend the company for your needs as well.

Stan came over, saw my situation and right away knew exactly what I want. He saw that it was very narrow and said he can make it a little wider. Well, I got a couple of other quotes from others and I knew after that Stan was the right guy for the job. His numbers are very reasonable and I can tell he knew what he was doing. We recently had our deck completely rebuilt by Boston Framers and we couldn't be happier with how…read moreit came out. We actually got their name directly from the deck manufacturer, who told us Boston Framers was excellent and highly recommended them. After working with them, I can see why. They started exactly when they said they would and showed up every day to keep the job moving. They even worked some weekends to get everything completed, which we really appreciated. Their carpenters were excellent. The workmanship was meticulous, the materials were all top quality, and you could tell they really cared about doing the job right. The price was very competitive, especially for the quality of work we received. I also made a few minor changes along the way, and they were very easy to work with and accommodated the changes without adding extra charges. It's not easy to find a contractor that is reliable, fairly priced, uses quality materials, and takes this much pride in their work. Boston Framers checked all those boxes for us. We're extremely happy with our new deck and would absolutely recommend Boston Framers to anyone considering a deck or other construction project. Five stars without hesitation.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.

We were very concerned that so many contractors would not be experienced enough to deal with the challenges that a house, built in 1753 would naturally have. Dave and Mike came into an absolute mess with our post and beam construction since the damage to the fieldstone foundation impacted the entire house. They did a fabulous job, better than any of our expectations. Whenever they encountered a problem we thought would be insurmountable, they calmly figured it out; even as our house was then effected by the Columbia gas explosion, right in the middle of construction. Dave gave us good advice, made solid suggestions on how to maximize our insurance money and was calm even when we were not. The communication was quick and clear even with the other contractors.
