Even with how busy they were, she was so welcoming and made the pickup experience great. For my meal, I ordered the Creamy Pesto with Chicken, and I absolutely loved it. The sauce wasn't overly oily, had a nice, light basil flavour, and I really appreciated that they included Parmesan on the side so I could add as much as I wanted. My wife ordered the Spaghetti Primavera and really enjoyed it as well. She especially loved the goat cheese, which added a great flavour to the dish. The pasta here is definitely high quality. You can tell some care goes into it, and both of our mains were delicious. We also ordered the Arancini, which were just okay. We've had much better elsewhere, so they weren't really a highlight of the meal. The pasta, however, was excellent. We're definitely interested in coming back, hopefully on a nicer day so we can actually sit on the patio with the dogs, try more of the menu, and take in the views from the upper patio. The side vegetables tasted really fresh (again, the nearby farm delivered!), and the chili cornbread added some interesting heat to the dish. - Gouda squash ravioli: Sooooooo muuuuccchhh cheeeeeese (which I love)!!! Also, very generous helping of squash and lots and lots of ravioli. There was so much of it that we even had some to take away :) - Apple crumble: While the 'crumble' part was well executed, the star was the apple - thinly sliced slivers of fresh sweetness. For the breakfast buffet, they offered standard stuff like pancakes, muffins, fruits and cake. Sounds like typical breakfast fare (which it was), though there were some interesting twists: pancakes were flavoured with pumpkin spice, the muffins were bacon cheddar, and the cake was a chocolate swirl coffee cake. Nice little touches here and there to differentiate a standard breakfast offering. So while it's a bit too far to make the drive just for the Renard Room, definitely give it a try if you're in the area. We came here for our 40th Wedding Anniversary and our daughter and son-in-law's 7th. The food fresh made pasta, fresh made sauces, light flavourful cream sauce not a heavy cream sauce at all.
