Laidback and drinks are nicely priced. I recommend this place to anyone whose looking for a good time!

Cheap drinks. This place needs a rebranding and rejuvenation. It used to be a good spot, but the service sucks and the atmosphere now sucks. Bathrooms there are terrible, I'd rather use the alley. Sucks because this is a great location read more

Went here with my family for the first time, just wanted to try something new. We came about 15/20 minutes after they opened. We sat down waited for about 5-7 more minutes passed and we have a man walk up to us and tell us " our kitchen is going to ready for about 30-40 more minutes so I'm not sure if you want to wait or eat somewhere else so yeah .." .. no! I replied and he answered back with cool! Sorry! Unprofessional to have a open time and then act like we're a bother for wanting to seat down and look at a menu. Idk just didn't give me a bad vibe and it's like he rather just leave than for us to stay and spend some money? - read more

Can't say enough about how cool everyone that works there is. Thanks, you guys seriously made our night. Sincerely, Minnie Mouse and her drunken sidekick read more

Whoa. Bros EVERYWHERE! If you're not an unfortunate looking female, please don't dress nicely. Scrubs, those well-worn pair of sweatpants your ex-boyfriend left in your apartment 6 months ago -- anything. You'll probably still get hit on in a fashion the Situation would be proud of. Yeah, the beer is cheap and it might be a stone's throw from your house, but it's just not worth it. Especially when the Blue Agave is so close. Do yourself a favor and go there. read more

Just not my kind of place. Went to a friends birthday party here last Saturday night and it was rough to say the least. Oktoberfest was going on so that may have been part of the problem. A Jack and coke was $7 which is crazy and the food was nothing special. We had toasted rav, BBQ nachos and fried pickles. About 830 a flood of very young patrons arrived. It went from a pleasant evening on the patio to chaos quickly. Maybe I'm just over this kind of place, I will say our waitress was nice. read more

I have not been to Big Daddy's for awhile because it had become a dive. They were hosting a Tour de Belleville registration night. They offered drink specials and free food appetizer buffet. The last thing I remember about the ladies rest room were they were NASTY. Well to my surprise, they remodeled them and they are clean and smell okay. They had plenty of waitresses to get your drink orders. The food was good for appetizers. This place was worth a second look. read more

Strolling down E Main Street on a Tuesday night we passed Big Daddy's. The only bar that was open on the street. The weather was perfect for a drink outside so we decided to enjoy their outdoor patio. The crowd was chill and you can't beat $2 Coronas while watching life go by from the gated patio. The place looks like it could be a little crazy on a weekend judging by the bartenders short shorts & tank-tops and the huge sign of strict rules you have to abide by. No cutoff shirts, no illicit drugs ...hats must be worn straight frontwards or backwards...? If you are looking for a place to drink outside with attentive bartenders and somewhat of a beer garden feel, Big Daddy's is an unexpected place you should check out. read more

Had fun here with friends on Sunday. Our server, Tara was sweet and put up with us gracefully. Will definately be back. read more

Big Daddy's 618 - Great time! - Bars Near Me - Belleville, Illinois

I grew up in the 618 and I feel like this is a tradition on Main Street! At the same time when going to Big Daddy's you really can't expect a lot because it is a bar known for cheap drinks. This is the place you come to run into all you friends that you went to high school...well at least that is what happens to me. Drink and be merry. read more

I have been coming here for a long time, and I feel like it's just getting worse and worse. I've tried to let all the hear say go in one ear and out the other but enough is enough. Just to be clear my friends or I hadn't had a drop of alcohol before coming here. This past weekend, on the 4th of July I came here with some friends after our plans got canceled. When we entered through the back gate the bouncer/security(Black shirt with green 618 numbers) was very rude about asking us for our ID's. I have no problem providing it, Just thought maybe he could be a little more professional when asking for ID's instead of handing the ID back so rough. Once inside we went to the outside patio bar and there was a short stocky guy behind the bar talking about not getting any p*ssy and how his wife never puts out. After finally getting the guys attention he turns to us and says what are you swallowing? My friends turned to me with a look of disgust on there face. We couldn't believe a bartender would ever been that disgusting or rude. We ended up ordering drinks witch took a few minutes to get(4 beers). Then we made our way to a table that wasn't that far from the bar, and we proceed to hear the same guy behind the bar asking ladies what there swallowing? I mean how hard is it to ask a person what they would like to drink? About 20 minutes after that I got a call from my daughter and she needed my credit card. I told her to meet me at the back gate but don't come in due to her not being 21. She agreed to call me when she was at the back gate. Well teenagers being teenagers she came on in the back gate. The bouncer didn't even ID her. I yelled at her for coming in and we walked to her car. Once I got that taken care of I went to come back in, the bouncer got really rude with me and said I need to see your ID, I told him that I just had showed him my ID and he proceeded to say "I don't give a shit, I need your ID". I then displayed my ID and he let me come back in. Again very unprofessional. I went to the bar to order my 2nd drink witch was another beer. The stocky bartender asked me once again what I was swallowing. I mean holy crap this is getting out of hand. So I got my beer and went and sat down with my friends. They were all ready for there 2nd beer also. My once friend went to the bar and ordered drinks for all them(3 beers). She put her card on file and started a tab. About an hour past, wasn't to bad of a night as they had a DJ there. So we were talking about our long week at work and we decided we were going to leave and go somewhere else. My friend said, hang on I need to close my tab. She proceeds to close her tab and she noticed her tab was over $40. She questioned a taller skinny guy behind the bar. He said he didn't know. Her bill should have been $9 for 3 beers. So she signs the receipt and we move back out of the way. I noticed while my friends were talking a guy I see in Big Daddys alot, I guess a regular comes to the patio and orders a drink. The tall skinny bartender gives him a beer and no money is exchanged for the beer. I noticed that the tall skinny guy bartender goes to the computer and hits a button that says sarah. Did he just put that beer he got for the regular on someone else's tab? That would make since why my friends bar tab was so high and she only bought 3 beers. There is some shady shit going on there and I can't believe the owner would put up with that. I know the owner very well also and I'm shocked that he would allow this kinda juvenile behavior to happen. read more

There isn't much "nightlife" in Belleville that involve any particular type crowd I hang with. They have cheap drinks here and plenty of guys. It is definitely one of those places you feel a swarm of bees come after you. The music is ok. I just don't want to hang with this type crowd. If you do drink, please have a friend drive you. Not just so you don't hurt someone but Belleville's finest (police) are watching you on all the adjacent streets trying to trap you in to a DUI. And if you park in the parking lot it's hard to get out of those spaces sober and even harder after a beer or two. read more

of course there was at least one fight (not surprised.) during the day it's not so bad and the food is decent. the reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the bouncer had the balls to come up to us while we were sitting around a table finishing our drinks 10 minutes before they closed..10 MINUTES..and straight up asked if we would leave and was a huge ass. what kind of place does that?! read more

Not sure what happened today. Walked in for lunch around noon. Watched two tables get waited on and served before our food order was even taken. It was actually the manager (or maybe owner) who took our order. Server just kept walking past us. Food was good although mine was just warm by the time we got it (warm fish yum). Total time one hour and 10 minutes. read more

We've gone here for years for thanksgiving eve drinking and dancing. We always have a great time, the music is usually always a great variety and the drinks are pretty good. We love Big Daddy's! read more

A now Belleville Downtown Jersey shore/Affiction shirt wearing bar on the weekends. If yo want to get totally wrecked and pump your fists this is the place on sat! I rate them with a one star because if you go there you better watch your charges!!! They will try to ring up extra drinks and slip them by you. This happened once before and I believed them that it was an accident but you aren't fooling me twice. They said someone used my name which is bogus because they never even asked my name NOR DID THEY EVER ASK FOR AN ID! I'm really upset right now because I just called to try to verify my transaction due to the fact that it never got fixed and they ran my card twice! I spoke with Andrea who claims to be the manager there, she told me that I was rude to accuse her employees of trying to rip off customers. Well, it's not rude when that's exactly what happened! If I wouldn't have said anything they would've been more than happy to have STOLEN my money. Because stealing is taking something without someone's permission! It can be a fun atmosphere but pay attention to them if you go there! So sad, what awful customer service! read more

I'm not a huge fan of BD618 for a nightlife kind of place but I'm a dive bar fan. I'm not even into going out that much anymore, but on occasion, it's fun. It can be an impromptu high school reunion of sorts, and you're bound to get some thirsty "gentlemen" chatting you up but the alcohol is flowing. Is that really that surprising? I love the aspect of the outdoor patio. That's my favorite time to hit BD's. What I love most about this place is the food. My boss/uncle and I have been coming here for lunch since they opened. We don't get to go together every day like we used to, but we stopped in today for the first time in a long time. So glad we did. The food still rocks. I've always loved their buffalo chicken salad (subbing grilled chicken) and while I don't eat it anymore, their tuna melt is the best I've ever had--EVER! Buffalo Chips (which are like waffle fries consistency but in the shape of chips and tossed in a seasoning) soooo good. I order the Zinger (grilled) a lot and that's buffalo chicken-esque. Looks like we have a theme here. However, the Cadillac (a hot, cheesy French Dip) is phenomenal, as is any burger on the menu. I also love that they offer lots of different sides: homemade chips, fries, buffalo chips, cottage cheese, and side salads. The service isn't always amazing but Scott, the owner is super friendly and runs a great business. If you're looking for a great lunch place, BD's for sure. read more
