The location is easy to find on the side of the huge Super H Mart mall. The food vendors really show out, by serving their best dishes. You use credit or cash to by tickets for food purchases. 2 hungry adults can fill up on about 15 tickets total. The tickets are $2 each. A glutton, like me, can expect to spend 15 tickets, alone - to get that warm, comfortable feeling. The atmosphere is happy and vibrant. There is also a stage, with constant music and entertainment. This is definitely an annual DFW, must-do event. Don't miss out next year!

I will go out on a limb here, I don't believe you will find a better Bluegrass festival anywhere in the country. 'But this Texas, there ain't any Bluegrass here'-you might say. Well you would be wrong. It's alive and very well right here in Framers Branch. Every act could be or has been or will be a headliner at any other festival that usually might have only one 'big name'. I have managed in two events to see everyone of my favorites. If you love great musicianship and acoustic music this is a can't miss show. I am anxious to see who will come next year. We were there for a variety of choices for lunch, mistake I guess! We ordered from 3 different places. The food is really expensive (like a theme park) for what it is. It's slightly better than fast food, but is definitely meant for a captive audience. This is no Legacy Hall. The plus is the building is beautiful, fresh and new. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and felt like it was MEANT for Christmas holiday decorations. So... if only for that, I recommend doing the Polar Express train and ending with hot cocoa (or a drink) here.

The FOH manager, Chris was phenomenal. Mistakes are inevitable in the restaurant industry so we understand. It is what is done after the fact that is a tell. They were great. Pricey poisoning nightmare!…read more What was supposed to be a fancy celebratory night out ($725 with tip) at Drake's for my MIL's birthday ended with one of our family members in the ER and another 2 attached to the toilet (including my 72 MIL). This was roughly 6 hours after consuming seafood from this establishment. The frustrating part is we actually sent one of the 2 dishes back reporting to staff it had a strange odor/taste and was told we weren't familiar with lobster taste (being from NY this is untrue). My MIL was too embarrassed to send hers back so she ate her entire plate and my husband had about 1/4 of his before exchanging it for an alternate dish. As an emergency service provider I fully understand medical incidents like this can happen anywhere, but what prompted this review was way the situation was handled following my reporting. After reporting the incident to management we were met with what felt like an aggressive line of questioning about the members of our medical team and related details. I was told the incident would be escalated to upper management and the team would reach back out, but this never happened, even after a follow-up email. So, it's safe to say after spending a significant amount of money on what was supposed to be a special evening, the entire experience left a very bad taste in our mouths. At the very least, I would have expected some sort of gesture of goodwill or attempt to make the situation right -- even something as simple as a gift card or invitation to return for a better experience. Unfortunately, that never happened. Based on this experience, I would not choose to return and cannot recommend Drake's to others.
