I have also had their regular pizza here a few times and it is always good. They now have a bar and a bigger dining room. I have never had anything but their pizza but next time home will stop by.

Ate lunch here today with the wife, grand kids, and weird brother-in-law Steven; or as I like to…read morecall him "Uncle Sling Blade". I don't want to be too harsh. We're talking about Northern Maine, and if you're coming up here expecting something chef Ramsey is going to be proud of, well, you're a pretentious douche. So all of that aside, here's the rub. The service was adequate. Wait staff was friendly and did their part to try and take care of us. They checked on us regularly, refilled the coffee, and if we asked for something they brought it. No complaints there. The food on the other hand was OK at best, and pretty disappointing at worst. My hamburger was made with about the lowest grade beef i think you can find. Other than that, it WAS to order when it comes to what I wanted on it. Cheese curd appetizer wasn't bad, but if you plan on sharing with anyone at your table you better pony up the dough for several orders. My wife got the Buffalo chicken strips, which are basically breaded chicken strips pulled from a box, heated in an oven, with done Buffalo sauce dumped on them. Mediocre! My grandson got the kids macaroni and cheese. They took a $.50 box of Kraft style mac and cheese and threw it in a plate with some fries. Literally. Didn't even try to church it up with a little real cheese thrown in. $1 worth of food for around $9. Because kids aren't worth the effort I guess. FAIL! This brings me to the last thing I want to say. French Fries. This goes out to everyone serving Fries up here in potato country, not just this place: TRY HARDER!!!! This place produces as many, if not more (haven't looked it up yet) potatoes than Idaho; who's license plate very dumbly and simply states "famous potatoes". This is the ONE THING nobody up here should be f&@$ing up! Yet every place I've been, the BEST I can say is MEDIOCRE! This place? FAIL! Served just shy of Luke warm, limp, soggy, bland, flavorless. Probably won't be back. For my money, the Chinese restaurant two doors down is FAR superior!

Waitstaff are very knowledgeable about the menu it's a cozy place vibe. We had pretzel bits they were good but the big pretzel is better. Cheese curds are good. We had the garlic cheese bread very good but we loved the garlic cheese bread sticks even more. I had a chef salad it was good lettuce not wilted dressing was tasty. My son likes the broccoli Alfredo it even reheated nicely. The Ruben was good but I asked for extra sauerkraut they wish I could've gotten more. The bread was good toasted and had good flavor. We took home the berry spare dessert it was very good. The water wasn't bad. Typical soda selections. We been a couple of times and probably will go back. Maybe next time in a Wednesday for trivia night.

By the time we were served our food, many people had come and gone, and the lunch rush had long since been over. When asked about the delay, the waitress stated, that because pizza were "faster to make because they have a new pizza oven. Therefore pizzas were the priority." Apparently, since they could not even manage to make a well done burger.

We were promptly seated and presented with menus. They have a full bar. I got a michelob ultra and was offered bottle or draft. I've watched too much of the show Bar Rescue to know a lot of establishments don't clean their draft lines, so I opted for a bottle with a glass. The glass was frozen- you gotta love a beer in a frozen glass, always so much better! We ordered our pizzas and our breadsticks and the breadsticks came out first as an appetizer should. They were very good but possibly a bit too cheesy. They were stuffed with cheese. I would probably get them again. The marinara dip they came with had no extra fee, we live on the extreme southern end of the state and often places down our way will charge an extra $2 or $3 dollars more for a dip cup. Northern Maine never stops surprising me! The pizzas were delivered to our table just as we finished our breadsticks-perfect timing! The pizza was really good. The dough tasted fresh, it was thin with a slight crunch. The sauce was tangy, like a Greek style pizza sauce. The toppings were just the right amount. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely go back. Thank you to my husband's cousin for recommending this place- the locals def know where to go!
