The Aqua tots class has made her feel comfortable about the pool and helped her submerge into the water naturally. I highly recommend Coach Kya. She took the time to explain the steps and what the parent needs to do in each move in order for the child to complete the desired action. We had other coaches before her and we found ourselves confused and we just followed what other parents were doing in each move. Coach Kya was the first one to tell us we were doing it wrong and patiently guided us to execute the steps correctly. The facility is new and clean. There are changing rooms, family restrooms with showers. They also have lollipops and stickers at the front desk for the students which is a nice touch. They are tech friendly, you can download the app and schedule make up classes easily. They also track the students' progress in the app, including the moves they learnt each class and the coach's feedback on when the student can move to the next level. Price is comparable to other big swimming chains such as Goldfish, Big Blue. Class ratio is 1:4 but if you get lucky, you can get 1:1 when other students cancel the group class. Will recommend!

The manager is very responsive too. The biggest pain about this pool is that the laps are in the middle, between the main pool and the deep end. Packs of children cross the lap lanes whenever they want to, are observed by staff/lifeguards, and not stopped. This is dangerous and very surprising when you're swimming laps and suddenly there's a child right in front of you. Some parents actually *put their children in the lap lanes* even when they see other people are swimming laps. It's completely frustrating. The children have their own ladder to get out from the deep end, but prefer to swim into the adjacent lane and use that ladder instead. I finally said something to a pack of 4-5 children who were doing this. The lifeguards clearly weren't going to do anything about it. IMHO they should move the lap lanes if possible so that children aren't constantly crossing it. Having it in the middle of the pool was perhaps not the best planning. Otherwise, it would be good to post signs or warn kids not to go into the lanes all the time. Overall it's a good pool and the staff are pretty friendly. I did hear the lifeguards repeatedly yell that 'there were Asians in the back' as the pool was closing up, whatever that means. Came off kind of insensitive. One person in our party was Asian so I couldn't figure out if they were trying to make sure we had left or what before they closed.

It's so nice to not have to cook two evenings in summer. Wednesdays the grill is fired up with hamburgers (usually $3) and hotdogs (usually $2) along with chicken, tacos, or brisket, depending on the night; Fridays we have a food truck come.
