And this is where the story takes a positive turn. Signed up online and received a text with a link of who was coming and what day. Included information of what was going to be performed and how much. On the day of the appointment, my daughter let the technician in and I immediately found him to be polite, professional, and naturally friendly to my dog. I was instantly put at ease. Having never had to use a pest service, I was concerned about who would be going through my house and this poor soul had to crawl and climb all over a completely turned upside-down house, on a hot July day. Every step of the way he was a bevy of information and empathy. I was quite comfortable having him move about my house without me, he earned my complete trust. He set some bait and traps and had immediate results the evening after the first visit. He returned 2 weeks later to clear the traps (3 kills!) and seal up the outside. And since Mass Bay completed their work, no mice! In terms of value, the price was in the 3 figures. What would you pay for peace of mind? Mass Bay's options and pricing seemed fair and I will consider setting up a yearly contract with them, again for that peace of mind. I also learned quite a bit about mice in general, which was a nice add. I like when people geek out about their work, it's a good sign of happy employees. Happy employees do excellent work. MassBay was truly excellent.

    Hello, We paid a lot…read moreof money ($2000.00) for Exclusion Treatment last month and there is a follow-up scheduled today with the times shown for 8 a.m to 5 pm. I called 3 days ago to request a morning time window, and followed up with three more calls to request this narrowed window as we do not live at the home where the work is being done and can not be there all day, waiting there for Tyler to call us on the same date of service, to let us know what time he will arrive. We also have an hour drive to get to the property. This is not fair to ask of anyone. Each time I contacted Terminix to confirm a morning appointment (4 times over 3 days) the representative informed me that the the tech, Tyler Dashund, the service tech was not pickingI am unable alter the time or confirm a reasonable window to wait for his arrival. This is extreme poor service as I have no idea what time he will be there to plan our day. An 8 hour window of needing to be available, on top of an additional 1 hour commute. We spent a lot of money for a service where we are unable to speak to anyone to properly schedule a reasonable wait time for service. I am very disappointed and inconvenienced by his lack of communication and the fact that the call center can't reach him or a supervisor for 3 days in order to provide us a reasonable 3-4 hour morning window. Also, I was provided an incorrect email address twice when I tried to address this issue by the call center. I was unable to speak with a supervisor as the call center did not have this information. Update: Tyler showed up around 10:00 a.m with no message to tell us the time he would be there. This is unacceptable given my previous requests to learn what time he would be there.

He was really good about explaining what products he was using and that they were safe around our dog. The ants were gone within a couple days. Henry also gave us some tips on keeping them from coming back. My only note is the initial phone call to book was a little rushed, the person on the phone seemed real busy.     this place is terrible. They have not had a working websIte since I joined more than 6 months ago…read moreto see what activity they do. They do not have a contract that lists out all the items I purchased. I thought I had mice, so ordered 2 doors and service to remove them. I only needed one door, so asked for a refund. But since I can't see the detailed contract, , I have no idea if they are reimbursing the right amount. Iam immunocompromised. I went downstairs today, a Tuesday and see flies. Since there are no windows, I am pretty sure it is a dead mouse. ( MAGGOTS DEVELOPED INTO FLIES). I CALL TO ASK THEM TO COME REMOVE THE DEAD MOUSE OR MICE WHICH I DO NOT SEE AND GET RID OF THE FLIES. THEY SAY THEY CAN'T COME UNTIL NEXT WEEK AND I DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT TO GET RID OF THE FLIES. I TELL THEM WELL, THE LONGER YOU LEAVE A DEAD MOUSE, THE MORE FLIES WILL BE THERE. I find this place lacking in service men, can't get a hold of people to talk to and they can't provide a breakdown of what I paid for a door or service which was not needed. I am disgusted. WHAT kind of company does not have a working website for over 5 months. The original contract was detailed, but the copy I recevied just listed the total, not details of the itmes. Service time, slow, slow, slow. Nobody answers the phone or chat, at the local office you use, and you spend all day trying to make appointments thorugh a central office. I will not renew when the time comes. I will be honest, Terminex is not great either but at least you can get someone on the phone. After 8 thousand dollars my problem has not been solved and servie is lacking.

I want to start and say that the 2 technicians that showed up toy house were great - really friendly and professional. My issue is with the price - $209 for 2 minutes of work. The dispatcher also said the guys would check around the house to see how the bat got inside, but they did not. Overall, very upset with the cost and lack of effort to fulfill what they promised me.
