And this is where the story takes a positive turn. Signed up online and received a text with a link of who was coming and what day. Included information of what was going to be performed and how much. On the day of the appointment, my daughter let the technician in and I immediately found him to be polite, professional, and naturally friendly to my dog. I was instantly put at ease. Having never had to use a pest service, I was concerned about who would be going through my house and this poor soul had to crawl and climb all over a completely turned upside-down house, on a hot July day. Every step of the way he was a bevy of information and empathy. I was quite comfortable having him move about my house without me, he earned my complete trust. He set some bait and traps and had immediate results the evening after the first visit. He returned 2 weeks later to clear the traps (3 kills!) and seal up the outside. And since Mass Bay completed their work, no mice! In terms of value, the price was in the 3 figures. What would you pay for peace of mind? Mass Bay's options and pricing seemed fair and I will consider setting up a yearly contract with them, again for that peace of mind. I also learned quite a bit about mice in general, which was a nice add. I like when people geek out about their work, it's a good sign of happy employees. Happy employees do excellent work. MassBay was truly excellent.

He arrived on time to the non-emergency appointment scheduled a couple of days after my initial request. Sean was very knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and took the time to answer all of my questions and to inspect bugs that I had never seen before. To my absolute horror, he confirmed that my house indeed had termites and that my c.1890 fieldstone foundation was allowing mouse entry. For a small business, the prices are actually a little more cost effective than larger extermination services. The termite treatment lasts 10 years and is transferable. Pets and my disability were taken into consideration during the initial, specialized treatments for termites, spiders, and mice. Because the house could not be "bug bombed" and certain areas couldn't be treated, he returns every 3 months for monitoring. He notifies me a few days beforehand to let me know when he'll arrive and always takes the time to answer any questions. If you're ever in need of an exterminator, Swat Pest and Wildlife is definitely the one to call!

Critter Control was able to stop by quickly to give a quote for removal/repair within a day or two and then was able to immediately start the work to remove the squirrels and cover up the holes they made within two business days. They answered all my questions along the way and did a great job with quickly catching the squirrel who was causing the issues and patching up the holes with metal and metal mesh to deter any future intrusions. Overall, I'm super satisfied with the work they did, their responsiveness, and their price!

WHAT kind of company does not have a working website for over 5 months. The original contract was detailed, but the copy I recevied just listed the total, not details of the itmes. Service time, slow, slow, slow. Nobody answers the phone or chat, at the local office you use, and you spend all day trying to make appointments thorugh a central office. I will not renew when the time comes. I will be honest, Terminex is not great either but at least you can get someone on the phone. After 8 thousand dollars my problem has not been solved and servie is lacking.

I won't ask you to imagine the horror and dread of hearing a squirrel gnawing and clawing in your wall and roof. Sean is knowledgeable and compassionate but effective in dealing with the pest problem. Sean also responds quickly to the request for help which means so much towards regaining peace of mind.
