It's not a brand new built, and I'd say it's more difficult to mitigate the old and the new part of the house. Ramin did a great job helping us to come up with the design that flows well. The design/ building permit phase took about 7 months (this part depends largely on your city as well). The actual building part took also 7 months. Actually, they finish 1 month earlier than I expected. Each trade teams acted professionally. Workmanship is up to standard. Leeran and Mitchell tried their best to communicate with us. Change orders are always explained and pre-communicated, no surprise/ hidden cost. For a project this size, mistakes happen but they always respond to and fix them asap. Even after they finish the job and pass the final inspection, they have Yahel to coordinate and make sure they take care the small stuffs and tie the loose ends. Overall, I highly recommend Baron for large remodel projects.

In short, we are extremely happy with the results, and enjoyed a smooth renovation process. We felt like we had personalized service and weren't just one project of many. Pricing was reasonable compared against the (many!) other contractors I "interviewed" before choosing to move forward with Bay Remodeling -- I feel that your money goes towards quality work and attention rather than lots of company overhead. The main highlights were Avi himself and our project manager Mel -- both were incredibly responsive and communicative from start to finish. Generally, Mel was on-site any time there was work being done, and Avi would come by at least weekly to check progress and have in-person chats with us about certain decisions and plans. We had a few hiccups during the design and buying stages, which could have been in part because my husband and I are new to home renovations. If I were to do another project with Avi's team (and I absolutely would) I might be a little more specific and ask more questions during the design phase to make sure we got everything right the first time, and were prepared for the process. That said, the designer did a great job of taking our ideas and turning them into reality, including super-realistic renderings to help us picture what the spaces would look like. It felt great to be able to give her thoughts and inspiration and quickly receive links, photos, concrete suggestions, in response. Because our home is older, and we were already doing a large project, we ended up adding on some extra changes and improvements since we were happy with the crew and their work from the start; they happily accepted every update. They also provided information about the state of some of our systems, informing us and suggesting upgrades as possible -- but never in a pushy or patronizing way. We also had work stall for a few months(!) due to the city permitting office. Even though the delay had nothing to do with Bay Remodeling (and rather, messed up /their/ work and scheduling as well), Avi and Mel were very apologetic throughout. They were able to pick up where they left off the minute the permits came through. It was a pleasure to work with true professionals that are also just great people. The project managers that we had worked with were Tony, Issac and Amit. The experiences that we had with the team were exceptional, Tony and his team leads were very professional, patient, attentive to details, and transparent to the cost. They were excellent in communications and never delay responding to our messages, usually within a few minutes or within hours for any questions that we ask at any time of the day. In terms of services, they are like one stop shop that includes almost everything that we need from a contractor for remodeling so it really saved a lot of our time from talking with different people for different phases of the remodel. Their team has the architect who started with the floor plan with us, with a lot of back and forth discussions and our inputs taken into considerations. After we agreed and finalized the plan, they submitted it to the city for the permit. Since the architects and the construction team are under the same leadership of NuHome, in our case, Tony, this saves a lot of later potential integration problems between the architectural plans and the executions of the construction. During the construction, there were a few times that we changed our plans, for example, changing the size of the closet and pantry, Tony and the team were accommodating it; and in the middle of the construction, we were also changing the type and the number of outlets and the spot lights, Tony and the team were also incorporated that as well. We also had changed the plan for the TV ascent wall, and the team were fully in corporation and working with for the change, which turned out to be beautiful. Another area that really pleased and benefit us was NuHome has excellent interior designer who had worked with us closely in designing the bathrooms, and helping us picking up the right materials that worked perfectly for us, this saved us so much potential headache as we pretty much knew nothing in this field. The showers were only 2-3 feet of space, dark and uncomfortable to shower in. Hardly any vanity space and the places the toilets were, were well, not the most spacious. We knew eventually we would have to renovate the bathrooms. Well, when we met Yaniv, we hired Shefer Builders to redo our roof. I could tell instantly he was an extremely detailed person. This filters down to the staff. The entire staff!! Talking with Yaniv during the roof project, we decided to have the company redo our bathrooms. This included a 3D designer, and a mobile showroom that came to the house so I could choose all the fun stuff. Everyone is so nice and comfortable to talk to about design and pricing. In addition, the crew and foremans were very helpful in explaining what they were doing throughout the enire projects. As for the kitchen: we had a dishwasher go bad and it leaked water all over including out the back of the house!! Well....perfect time to have Shefer Builder renovate the kitchen!! To be fair, the lady who was there was very kind person but I guess they either don't like walk-ins or saw me driving my pickup truck that I usually drive around with, I asked if I could talk to someone about my home remodeling project and the lady's answer was "our minimum budget for projects is $100K" . Perhaps that is the right way to answer and qualify people but it just felt bad as there was no discussion about my project ... so I politely said thank you and left. What she didn't know is that I drive a G-Wagon and my project is probably worth $500K, at least that is what I have budgeted for.  They are probably a luxury builder and to be fair I never got to talk anyone else but whoever owns that place should teach their employees how to talk to prospects
