Hands down, the best large-scale cocktail company in Los Angeles, probably California, and perhaps the country. I first saw BigBatch operating at a music festival in California called Lightning in a Bottle a few years ago. It's a huge event and there are bars scattered everywhere. BigBatch had their cocktails set up and pouring on draft at every bar for like four or five days. You might think that cocktails made at this volume would be cheap-tasting, overly-sugared, or flat, but that was not the case. Everything they offered was right on the money and you could tell that they used fresh ingredients. Their Margarita is awesome! A perfect blend of lime, jalepeno, and a hint of cucumber. Also, their Moscow Mule had fresh pressed ginger in it! Game changer! Impressive flavors and an impressive system they have for pumping out quality drinks at large volume. I asked one of the bartenders if he could put me in touch with the guys in charge and I was introduced to Jeffery Baker at the event. He told me how their operation worked and was super cool and had tons of bar and cocktail expertise. Flash forward, my brother got married last summer and it was a big event--250 people (I come from a large family). My sister-in-law was in a panic about how to do the two bars at the wedding and I suggested BigBatch. I saved the day, or rather BigBatch did. They helped my brother and sister-in-law devise a basic menu and even crafted a specialty cocktail for them. They arrived at the venue, set up their draft systems, and the reception was a blast. With all of the moving parts that go into planning a big wedding, BigBatch took care of a major component and did it in style, in a professional manner, and with fantastic drinks to help everyone celebrate a great day. I highly recommend BigBatch if you are having a big event and want to work with cool people who are experts in their field and know how to make a proper goo drink. 100%, two thumbs up, nailed it. read more
