The place has been a fixture of Harborne High Street life for many years. I used to buy veg here 15 years ago and still do on my regular Charity shop hunts along the main drag.
The store is open plan from the moment you step off the high street - no doors or windows, just step right off the street - which gives it a market feel, as does the way in which the fruits and veg is arranged in high and long rows that stretch all the way around the store.
If you're stocking up on fruit and or veg for the week then this will be a much better and considerably cheaper alternative to the local supermarket. Considering that the local supermarket in this area is a Waitrose, the financial aspect is even more appealing. The quality of the goods is fairly decent, if a little conservative in terms of range, but all-in-all this is a pretty good high street greengrocers. read more
