The helpful girl behind the counter informed me about various discounts on offer - which all sounded good, but in the end the only offer I took up was a bag of oranges for £1. I think the girl behind the counter (who had incredibly wide hands - all the better for scooping up handfuls of 'International' fruit, no doubt) seemed a bit disappointed that I wasn't bargain hunting on quite the scale that she would have liked...
This supermarket is perilously close to the Co-op, in terms of business location, but it's always good to support local one-offs, in my opinion. Or even 'international' one-offs. It's far better priced too - so get yourselves down there and ask about the offers! read more
