Took it back and they charged me $955 and it lasted till the following spring. Went in this July and they wanted $3250 to fix it. I seemed to have 3 parts that needed to be changed. Cost for parts $125 off the street. They said that they could sharpen there pencil and do it for $2550. I smell a rat here. Needless to say they are not the A/C specialists they are supposed to be. I ended up taking it to Kendal ford and was given a much better price to fix everything. After fixing the leaks and a few other issues that were found, I ended getting the truck back a few days later. unfortunately I was pretty disappointed in how little the technicians cared to properly secure both front wheel well liners and a unsecured catalytic converter, as well as a flashing low engine oil pressure light on my dash. I took the truck back and told consultant Morgan Hargen that my truck was not fixed, he was very quick to take the truck back and fix any issues I was having. About a week later I received a phone call stating that all issues have been fixed and it was ready to be picked up and so far so good, I haven't had an issue since. thanks Morgan

What a great shop this is! I just found them a few weeks ago. I had work done on my Acura at a…read moregarage in Eugene and the problems weren't only not fixed but created a problem with my A/C. Jerry was so nice and scheduled to check out the car a few days out. I dropped off my car and the mechanic went over the issues I had: speedometer cable broken and replaced Idle control not working. Come to find out, my A/C wasn't working right either. The shop is very clean, as is the waiting area and bathroom. They had coffee and water available to drink while I waited. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time. I was warned that the A/C issue might involve having to remove the dash inside the car to find the problem and might be a pricey fix. Ugh. I was preparing for the worse and praying for the best. The speedometer cable was not broken but disconnected. Huge cost savings there and impt. because the part was no longer being manufactured. The Idle control part that was put on by the Eugene mechanics and didn't fix the idle problem wasn't the necessary part to fix the idle problem. My car has a manual transmission. It has two Idle control parts not one which is what automatic transmissions have. The one that was replaced was for hot starts...the one I needed was for cold starts which would solve both cold and hot start idle issues. I found a used fast idle control assembly part online and that fix was properly fixed now. The fix made by the garage in Eugene to address the fan issue for the radiator was not fixed. Mainly because the problem wasn't the fan but a dead battery. The Eugene mechanics repair that was made was to add a timer and sensor which, not only wasn't necessary but ended up being the cause of the A/C unit not working. It was blowing the A/C fuse making the A/C not work. Thankfully the dash wasn't taken out so the fix was not as expensive as I thought it would be. I am grateful for good and honest mechanics. I am frustrated with having to go back to my previous mechanic and try to get some money back on the work they did but I'm going to try. Wayne's is my new Acura mechanic.

The news was what I expected, and I spent the last three days looking at new cars. In the meantime, I was worried that I'd left my old Acura at Kendall. They were totally supportive. Come on and agreed to hold the car for a few days on their lot. Both of the service reps Were smart, funny and knew how to make my frustrating day a bit better. I didn't end up buying another Acura, but if I'm ever looking for one, but I try Kendall first. This is what I think of when I think of supportive customer service.

They refused to do the warranty work and instead gave me an estimate at full MSRP totaling over $3K, so I balked. Later, I happened to be talking with Mercedes Benz of Eugene Service Director Daniel Maslin about this issue and he told me to come on down. I made the appointment ahead of time, I drove in from out of state on a Sunday, dropped the van off Monday morning, was given a free loaner (GLE450) to tool around town in, and the van was done by 2pm - they even washed it ! My local dealer doest not give loaners to van owners nor do they wash vans either for that matter. I am over the moon pleased with my experience at Mercedes Benz of Eugene Or. A great big thank to you Service Advisor Jason Cowdry and Service Director Daniel Maslin - you guys rock !

They told me that it would be $4800 to completely repair it and offered to help me get ahold of a junkyard to take it and give me a couple hundred bucks. My mechanic from Salem came, got my car, told me no one actually checked inside the engine. He replaced the timing belt and tensioner. Less than $300. I paid them almost $500 for 2 sensors(that my mechanic confirmed, I didn't need) and some diagnostics. THEY WANTED ME TO JUNK MY CAR!!! On a worst case scenario! They didn't confirm what the actual problem was! By the way, it was the bearings in the tensioner. Not to be trusted!
