They have excellent pizzas, as well. I always loved their combination special. The mushrooms & black olives are what made it special. Everything here is excellent! Cookies, soup, salad, sandwiches. You can NOT go wrong eating at the Schlots, that's what I call it. I'm happy that my kids love it as much as I do. Definitely recommend this sandwich shop!! Shorter but wider than your classic submarine sandwich. And the toppings are great too! So many types of subs to choose from, but I usually get the All-American (toasted). Can't go wrong with any of them! Service is quick, even when there are lines during the lunch rush.

So their menu has both sweet and savory crepes, savory paninis, and waffles. EVERYTHING looks delicious. My friends and I all opted for savory pains, and a crepe to share. I ordered the turkey, havarti and spinach panini. Delicious doesn't do it justice. A lot of places will serve a sandwuch on like a white bread pressed on a flat grill and call it a panini. Not here! Fresh sourdough, crunchy, and pressed in a panini press. Grill marks everywhere, crunchy goodness, and delicious fillings. I love how melty havarti is, and the pesto spread is absolutely divine. One friend ordered the same sandwich as me, and the other friend ordered the 3 cheese grilled cheese and it looked absolutely ooey gooey delish. And trust when I say, the sandwiches are HUGE!! I brought half of mine home for lunch tomorrow. Then, we ordered the Orange crepe, with caramelized orange slices, chocolate drizzle, and fresh whipped cream. O M G. It's just enough sweetness, with that fresh citrus. It was subtle and delicate, but so full flavored at the same time. The Owner was so friendly!! That doesn't impact the taste of the offerings, of course, but it just made the whole experience so enjoyable. Everything is fresh fresh fresh, the menu changes seasonally so there's always going to be something new and exciting. Right now, there's a "limited time only" s'mores crepe that is calling my name!! A couple things that are not ideal: it's Broadway district so parking sucks. Especially with all the snow piled up, it's just cumbersome to get there (but so worth it!). The other thing is their hours during the week... open 8-5 which happen to coincide with my work hours. BUT a wonderful weekend (for me) treat!

The closest thing they have is a gourmet garden salad and you can decide what kind of meat you want, plus add or remove other veggies. My food came out quick and was surprised on how much chicken they gave me (see my pic), so it was a very hearty salad. It came in a plastic container so you can easily take it on the go. Very happy to know I have this option if I go to a different location. To comment specifically on this space, it's big and open and well lit with the glass window wall in the front of the store. She received the latter and here is why: I asked 2 specific questions and after the 2nd, I felt as if I was interviewing her instead of being encouraged to learn their menu options. I quickly learned their prices are ridiculous. $21 for a subway-type sandwich? Of course at POS, I'm asked by it how much TIP I want to include! Yup, they ask for a tip in percentage increments before I've received anything from them! No matter what you select, they see that so if you choose NO TIP, the clerk sees that before even beginning your order! Select wisely, or else!? My sandwich was marginal but the real gripper was the dirty outer bag which had the cook's gloved finger print marks of grease, meat and whatever else those gloves touched pre-packaging! Got home and the inner paper was no better with cheese and meat falling out and sticking to the paper not to be consumed. I would say $3 of product was wasted, based on the charges levied. Opening the bread completely THEN adding the ingredients THEN closing the bread a tad bit would remedy this but that must only come when you TIP the amount they think they're worth but certainly the company they CHOSE to work for doesn't believe they're worth! Otherwise this company would not expect THEIR employees to be supplementary paid by it's customers! $22 for just a sandwich that I walked to your work station and specifically told you what I wanted on it, you turn and make it, walk 2 steps to set it down and YOU WANT A TIP PRIOR? Reconsider your POS suggestions. The majority of customers are tired of this pre-tip concept that has infiltrated almost every business. I know I am beyond tired and choose not to return.
