After a four month wait I can say I'm finally the happy owner of an awesome PRECOR Functional…read moreTrainer (duel Cable Machine). Due to this pandemic every aspect of fitness equipment is backordered and there's nothing that retailers can do unfortunately. The staff here were awesome. They NEVER tried to sell me on an item I didn't want or have interest in. They replied to all my emails and kept me in the loop on my ordered status. Having beeb very familiar with gym equipment I knew I wanted this PRECOR cable, I've always seen these things take a beating in bog name gyms being misused by new lifters and they keep on going! Jeff & Jason from CaliFitness came over and installed it in less then 90mins total time. They were both very professional and respectful to my property. THANK YOU TO YOUR WHOLE TEAM FOR ALL YOUR HELP

*BUYER BEWARE*…read more Athlete Fitness Equipment's sales and management team is misleading. And for a reason. It ensures a sale. And with pushing delivery, installation, and assembly to be AFTER there 7 day return policy, they guarantee their profit and your dissatisfaction. (Yes, I know. You should be able to experience the machine you purchased during the return policy period. But I don't write the unethical business practice manual.) Our story is as follows: We had a Hoist Mi5 machine purchased on 6/27/20 and installed/assembled on 7/7/20. Stock weight stack is 200 lbs. Tried an Mi6 in store. Natalie tells us they are similar in function, but we do not need to foot the extra $1,000 for the additional bells and whistles. Plus the Mi5 was only available as a floor model that was sold. Per etiquette, we checked out the display and found the smooth pulley system was in fact similar but did not test the machine's upper weight stack limits out of respect for the soon to be owners. The machine we received worked like a dream. Except for a few caveats. the200 lb weight stack is equivalent to each arm pulling 25% of the total. That means simultaneously you would be pulling 100lbs, or 50 lbs per. In NO WAY does this add up to 200 pounds. The second issue of the pin having difficulty going into the machine does not compare to how frustrated we are with a machine I intended to not worry about maxing out. The test was done with our 70+ pound teenager hanging on one cable. He hit the floor, giving us the indication that the weight being pulled was way under 70 pounds. We called Hoist to ask if the installation was wrong or if there was some mechanism we needed to manipulate to get 100 pounds per side for the 200 pound total. That's what led us to understanding the 25% weight pull in the aforementioned sentence. This would explain the mysterious sales pitch of the "4 to 1 ratio" that Natalie stated. When we asked specifics of what that means, her explanation did not change. 'It's a 200lb weight stack'. Can't argue with that. Final thought: Fully test out the equipment before purchase. And do not purchase from here.
