And even then I've seen worse. Oh my God, you big city kids will be so devastated if you go here. Turn back now before you're abducted by extraterrestrial lifeforms. At least they had a few decorations up for Christmas when my girls and I came here on November 29, 2025... a few Santa hats on the aliens. Lol. Lots of free parking.

I took my wife, Annie to the Roswell, NM Location to get her some nice, comfortable shoes for her…read morebirthday. The young woman was pleasant and helpful, and my wife selected an $87 pair of Skechers with air-cooled memory foam. Annie advises that the shoes were very comfortable trying them on and walking around the store, but discovered that, due to their "hands-free/slip-on" construction, there was some firm rubber that goes around the side and back of the heel at the top. This made her ankle sore, so the next time we went to Roswell, we took them with us to exchange for a more comfortable, perhaps a traditional "lace-up" style. And here is where service makes all the difference in customer experience. I have to compliment this location on their young man named Nathan. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. It was clear Nathan went the extra mile to make sure Annie had all the help she needed selecting her replacement pair and she was able to quickly decide on a pair of lace-up Skechers with the same memory foam and special air chamber in the heel. I believe this is called the "Stand on air" model. Annie said, and I quote, "These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn." Nathan was so helpful, I had to write and say something nice about him. It was our first time to see him, so I'm not sure how long he has been at this location, but he kept a very positive demeanor, very helpful attitude. He was really just perfect for what we needed. He processed the return, no problem at all. Whatever they do, they need to hang onto this employee like gold. Make him a manager (if he isn't already) and give him a nice raise. The restrooms could use an updating and scheduled cleaning. The employees were a mix of too busy to assist and some who were exceptionally friendly. We saw only one register open with a clerk and the rest was self-checkout. This Target it located on the north side of Roswell, NM in somewhat close proximity to the mall. Hit or miss kind of shopping day on April 8, 2026.

Jordan approached me without asking what happened, while the employees were having inappropriate conversations in front of customers. This kind of behavior makes it clear why some people continue to boycott Target. The staff misjudged me as a customer and showed no professionalism or respect, making this one of the worst experiences I've had at a retail location.
