I had this company come to my home, 75 miles from Fargo, to check for a serious sewer smell/leak…read more They said there would be a mileage for travel, but when they charged me $1,250 to drive to my home, spent an hour snooping around, put some duct tape on one pipe, and FAILED to find the problem even though I had the ceiling open because there were stains when I bought the house and I removed that part, not wanting to seal it up until I was sure the plumbing was correct. Then they said they would come back and do some work, it might even take two more days: at $1250 for travel. They charged me $1550 for that first visit, $300 for the two of them to snoop around. I paid them, because I honor my bills, but I HIGHLY recommend you AVOID these guys. They'll probably delete this review, but i will leave it elsewhere where they can't. I called another company, they were very professional, came and found the problem within minutes, returned within days with all the supplies and buttoned it up within hours. No problems since. And it cost me LESS than it would have been to pay these guys for travel, ie. close to $4,000 to get them here three days, AND it cost less than this company quoted me for the actual repairs. So I wasted $1,550 on these guys and was saved additional thousands by getting someone who knew what they were doing and were fair and conscientious in their work ethic.

Home Heating: A Masterclass in Manipulation, Incompetence, and Corporate Arrogance…read more If you're looking for an HVAC company that will ignore your requests, gaslight you, and leave you stewing in your own sweat like a rotisserie chicken they forgot to fix the oven for, congratulations! Home Heating is the clown car of customer service you've been searching for. I'm a disabled vet. I didn't ask for a mansion. I didn't ask for gold-plated vents. I asked for a repair. A simple, honest fix for my A/C during a brutal summer. But these vultures saw an opportunity to upsell me into a $11,000 furnace and A/C replacement instead. Because nothing says "thank you for your service" like trying to fleece someone barely holding it together in 90-degree heat. Enter Joe Ludwig, the human equivalent of a shrug in a cheap polo shirt. His role? Apparently, to act like I'm crazy for not kissing their boots while they slow-walked my suffering. Snippy tone? Check. Condescension? You bet. Gaslighting? Like he read the manual and annotated it himself. And when I pushed back? "You're imagining it." Oh, am I? They had the audacity, the unfiltered gall, to tell me they were "doing me a favor." A favor that never actually happened. A favor that cost zero repairs, zero installs, and two months of literal misery. If that's a favor, then mugging someone and complimenting their wallet is customer appreciation. Here's the truth: this is what happens when big companies get drunk on their own importance. They forget the customer, they forget the job, and they definitely forget their dignity. Want HVAC work? Hire an independent tech who doesn't think you're just a walking invoice. Home Heating didn't just fail, they humiliated themselves. I wouldn't let them install a fan in a dollhouse.

I would give 0 stars if I could, so instead I am sharing my experience as a homeowner so others can…read moremake an informed decision when choosing a home repair company I hired ABC Seamless for window installation. Before the installation, I had no issues with my home. After the installation, problems developed and continued for years despite repeated attempts to have them addressed. I sought professional evaluations to determine the cause. My insurance company documented in writing that the damage was due to faulty installation. An independent third-party contractor also provided written documentation reaching the same conclusion. Photos taken during the removal of the windows documented installation issues that were not visible until the windows were removed. During my attempts to resolve this, the explanation for the issues repeatedly changed--from humidity, to caulking (which ABC installed), to house wrap, and then siding. I was eventually presented with a proposed solution involving work estimated near $70,000. I am a single mother, and ABC Seamless was aware of my situation. During one conversation, I recall the production manager comparing my situation to Habitat for Humanity and mentioning the owner's charitable giving. I found that response discouraging because I was asking for accountability regarding my home and documented concerns. After years of trying to resolve this directly, I filed a small claims case. I represented myself because hiring an attorney was not financially realistic, while ABC Seamless had legal representation. They argued spoliation of evidence, claiming they did not have an opportunity to inspect the windows, despite having been to my home multiple times regarding these issues. The case was dismissed without prejudice because the court determined the matter was too complex for small claims court. This was not a ruling that my concerns were unfounded; rather, it left me unable to proceed in small claims without pursuing a more complex legal process. I have spent years documenting this issue, obtaining professional opinions, and trying to find resolution. Based on my experience, the financial burden, stress, and difficulty obtaining accountability have been extremely frustrating. I encourage anyone considering a major home improvement project to research the company carefully, ask questions, and make sure they understand how problems will be handled if they arise. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING AND SCREENSHOT EVERYTHING! No flash tape where it was needed to be fully functional to keep water out, as well as they did not use a nail flange on the insert windows. They also used liquid nail on the outside nearly damaging the exterior of my house during removal. Small claims was dismissed without prejudice due to the complexity and amount of evidence given, I have reached out to them to meet a resolution before moving forward with district court, so far crickets. Buyers Beware!!

ABC Seamless of Fargo advertises heavily the "Lifetime, transferable, non-prorated, even includes…read morecoverage for fading" warranty. My experience leads me to suggest that you explore other siding options, or if you decide to choose ABC, read your warranty agreement VERY closely and pay attention to the fine print. They used the built in "outs" to deny our claim. My feeling is the warranty is misleading and not in the spirit of good service you would expect with the price premium.
