Une fois à l'intérieur, même s'il fait gris dehors, on retrouve le sourire parce les couleurs sont vives et les matières originales. Les pieds de tables sont d'anciennes machines à coudre à pédalier, et les bouquets sont en fleurs naturelles. Même la nourriture est 100% fraîche ! Ne tarder pas trop donc le midi pour venir déguster les bons plats maison qui partent comme des petits pains. Ce lieux n'est pas réservé aux étudiants malgré ses prix abordables, bien au contraire. Personnellement j'y suis allée avec ma maman pour discuter, à côté de nous il y avait un groupe d'artiste en train de planifier une tournée, dans le coin un couple se regardait tendrement et deux hommes près du bar parlaient business. Important : mieux vaut appeler pour réserver pour les repas. Ce serait dommage de faire tout le trajet et ne pas pouvoir goûter à la quiche du moment ou aux club sandwich savoureux. Dans le pire des cas, consolez-vous avec les tartes du jour :-) Le + : le parking juste à côté. A noter : J'ai entendu dire que c'était aussi super sympa le soir avec sa scène animée... My friend got the fried chicken and sweet potato mash with chorizo and absolutely gushed over the potatoes. We were lucky to slide in early on Friday and find a table open - I think you usually need reservations. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again because the decor was cool, the vibe was right, and the food was delightful. I wish we had room to try the desserts, or that I had tried something off the long drink menu.

However I knew it would not be my only bouchon dinner after trying the typical dishes of eggs in red wine sauce and fish dumplings. I had never had these food before but I know how to cook so I knew something was off. The red wine sauce was thin and watery and the fish dumplings dense and pale. It was a Monday evening so perhaps the best chef had the night off. The wine was very good and the atmosphere was perfectly lyonnaise.

The execution was on point. The dumplings totally had pike/fish flavor but so light and delicate. However the star is what lies beneath it. The lobster bisque was insanely good and brought added dimension to the dumpling. It was served with scalloped potatoes. I started with the cheese and salad. I never had cottage cheese so fresh and light. No comparison to the one you get in the market. It was whipped with herbs and olive oil with a wonderful mouth feel. The dessert was a let down. A praline tart. I should have gone with the cheese plate, but I wanted to end with something different.
