The menu looked amazing we so ordered the daily special- the Green Thai Curry and some wings... DELICIOUS. The heat was spot on- this Texas gal loved it. Prices were cheaper than most places in town, and there weren't as many tourist. Service was top notch as well!!!

They are my go-to place for a mixed group hangout. Here I ate a dozen sweet chilli wings and a small (25CL) glass of the excellent granite pale ale (an American style IPA). Total: €15. Will be back often!

Olivier and Valerie move from Belgium to some 15 years ago. Riding the wave of organic products and…read morequality, they launched their brewery - producing natural beers and high-level tasting. Their beers are unfiltered and unpasteurized, fermented in the bottle without preservatives or coloring. Markus brewery now has a full range of quality beers: Blanche, Blonde, Printanière, Hivernale, Ambrée, Brun, Lottness by Markus & Prestige. Why Saou? Because its water offers a brewer all the features needed to create a great tasting beer. Home to a gigantic "impluvium" lined with natural filters/sedimentary rocks. The quality "mountain spring water" that flows from here has always been the admiration of Drôme. If you haven't been here yet, or could simply use a great beer, you should stop by. It's definitely worth a visit.

The salad and shrimp were superb. Here are the downsides- Service is not a concept they are familiar with. You are not greeted when you arrive and you will more than likely have to flag a waiter down to get any kind of service. The food takes a very long time, so if you go here, make sure you have a lot of tome on your hands. Another downside were the drinks. I ordered vodka with grapefruit juice - the drink comes out in a one sip sized cup & doesn't appear to have any alcohol in it. I'd recommend this place if you are looking to sit down & stay a while. Maybe a good place for coffee & studying.
Do you know those places where you get a prepaid card and scan it for different wines (or…read moreportions)? There's one in the town I live at back in the US, but I've never seen a place that offers this concept for beers. During my time in Annecy a travel buddy told us he had read about it in a travel book he was carrying so we decided to check it out after dinner. The bar has a rustic feel to it and it looked like the beers were switched out frequently. I can imagine beer loving locals come here often to try all the newest arrivals and seasonal brews. We didn't really do the whole concept (we had the staff assist us in getting beers served instead of doing it ourselves), but we did grab a couple of beers. These were more crafty beers from micro breweries which we really loved. I can't remember now if there was any food served here, I think this is a great spot to go out for drinks with friends after dinner.
Endroit sympa mais il faut venir à plusieurs car seul impossible de faire connaissance avec qui que ce soit
