Here the trees seem as old as time itself, as they reach for the sky and shelter you when you drive in. These sycamores and cotton wood trees form an arch overhead and add to the peacefulness and lush landscape of the area
The road meanders in past tables for picnic areas, and continues across from a huge green field, perfect for whatever outdoor game you might dream of. There is a baseball mound with plenty of room to race around and explore. There are also vollyball courts and horseshoe pits in the park.
The parking and recreation areas are separated from each other, so each group feels like they have this tiny Eden to themselves. Thre are lots of long tables, Big Barbeque areas, and rest rooms. The park is designed for day use, and the rental fee on the SLO park site is quoted as $30.
