That seems to be common though, everyone is using Covid as a good excuse for bad customer service. We were told to expect five more weeks (even though we were 3+ weeks into the initial 5 week wait prior to shut down) to get our daughter in the car. It ended up only being three. Her instructor Vernon was solid and instructive. We were pleased with his part, which in the end is the most important part. Bottom line: Since every kid is required by law to use these "schools" they don't have to work for your business. They can pull premium dollars (and this place does) and give minimum customer care. If you do use AAAA, ask for Vernon as your instructor. Updating my 1 star rating to a 3 star (because we're through this mess and my daughter is now a licensed driver ). I would give Vernon a 5 star. I've heard lots of bad things about in car instructors not giving instruction, being on their phone etc. Vernon was attentive and gave several good tips and advice. We appreciated him. So frustrated with this place right now. Registered our daughter in February to begin in car. The wait to get started was five weeks. We were told we had to send the money in to get on the schedule. Fine. Our check was cashed upon receipt February 25... that was a little weird. Then everything shut down with the COVID-19 issue and there had been NO communication. No emails. No phone calls. No way to reach anyone as there are no voicemails being taken. They have our money and won't even give us the courtesy of communicating with us. Ridiculous.

He made learning everything fun and not so boring. My whole family has used this place as well and we are all excellent behind the wheel so I would recommend it to all! Why wasn't this a thing when I was getting my license???!! Anyways, the paperwork process was simple; you print off everything online, Get your certificate together from the classwork and drop it off in the office across from Chick Fil A on Beechmont Ave. Instructor called and scheduled driving sessions for the following week! Super quick! He was picked up at school and dropped off at home. On the days he was with his mom, he was picked up at school and dropped off at an agreed upon location (Luckman Coffee). On the final date of his session (4, 2hour sessions), he was mailed his documentation and we received it two days later. Fastest service ever for this type of thing. We were able to schedule his driving exam quick and we feel that he is well prepared to get his license! They did a wonderful job working on maneuverability, highway driving, passing, etc.. highly recommend Buckle Up (although the price is steep, $450).
