I was skeptical to call Bicycle Mechanic given only 2 reviews on Yelp but I decided to take a chance. It ends up that Ray is the owner/repairman and has 30 years of experience repairing bikes. He actually ran the show at Bicycle Garage in Pacific Beach for several years before splitting off 6 months ago. He was very knowledgable, did great work, and the turn-around time was just a couple of days (some work can be done same-day or while you wait).
