This is a new restaurant at rua da Bica in Lisbon/ Portugal. They offer dishes that are different from the options found at the other restaurants in the same area. The space has a modern vibe that contrasts with the old buildings around it. It is quiet enough for you to have a conversation with your friends. If you have a seat close to thea window you can see the funicular going up and down and the tourists going around. Lots of young adults hang around the neighborhood to drink, eat and have a conversation - seated all around the Bica street's stairs. For sure you can find a cheaper place to eat in the area but this place is much more gourmet, experimental, and unique. Restroom was very clean and has a industrial feeling/ decour. We had to ask for them to cut the Picanha in not so thin slices as they used to do. The flavor in both the picanha and duck was excellent - both cooked medium rare to " ao ponto". Our young waiter did his homework and was able to explain the difference in between the wines that we tasted. The portions size are small compared to the normal Portuguese portions ( that easily feeds two people). We were able to enjoy our food, re-conne to old friends and the waiter never bother us with the bill or kept pestering us asking if we want something more. read more
