Seasoned them, put them on the BBQ. And... Toughest, most flavourless meat I have ever had in my life. So bad, my wife and I each had a couple of bites, and pushed them away. Eventually we thin-sliced them and put them into a slow cooker for a stew, the way you would with stewing beef. Still tough, but at least the juice we added gave some flavour. But, really, I rarely put $42 worth of steak into a stew. I have no idea what they do with their meat - obviously it's not even decently aged - but that was awful.

I have driven by multiple times and always been curious as to what water buffalo might taste like and today decided it would be the day to be adventurous.
