It's a sight to see, and they are selling items they just brought from the boats. Next door is a restaurant where you can have the most amazing and fresh seafood dishes. What I been looking forward to is a cuoppo. This is the italian word for cone. You get a paper cone filled with fried seafood. I had a mixed cone, so you get some of everything. There was shrimp, calamari, octopus, anchovies, salmon, swordfish, and little dough balls that had sea weed in them! This was my favorite stop on my food tour that day and I already can't wait to go back!

They literally sell fresh seafood in front and cooks them fresh to order. Everything we ordered were fresh and delicious. The calamari was well seasoned and portions are generous for €12. The fried anchovies was so delightful and full or umami flavor. Lastly the spaghetti with half lobster for only €20 was a steal!! It was perfectly cooked with good amounts of really lobster meat. And the entire dinner meal only costs me €49. I could have paid at least $150 for this is the US. Highly recommend this whenever your visit Napoli!!

I felt like in a churrascaria where you're supposed to put the stop sign at one point on table but there simply isn't any stop sign. They just kept bringing plates after plates. But for me it's not about quantity. Everything we tried was really good. I loved the "sciurilli", stuffed pumpkin blossoms stuffed with ricotta and salami...heaven! The little fried alici sardines were very good, too. Then there were grilled and seasoned soft aubergine slices that were so tasty I'd want to eat them again tomorrow for breakfast. Also loved the stuffed peppers. There was a cauliflower carpaccio with walnuts that looked very simple but was full of flavour. Of course the mozzarelle and the little provola cheese were of the best and freshest quality. Were were also served innards, tripe and zuppa forte (spicy tomato stew with innards). There were more things but boy, I've only talked about the antipasto so far! We drank their house red wine which I really do recommend. Then, you have to try their pasta genovese!!! It was the best we had in whole Naplens. Traditionally you should be served that tender bit of meat that's slowly cooked until it falls to pieces. But 99% of cases we only got the sauce with onions and pasta. But here you get a big chunk of meat on your pasta plate. Yay! It was so good! Now be warned. Not only do you have to try every single antipasto and thereafter that huge plate of pasta genovese but you also have to stay for dessert. The cake made of amarena cherries and almonds is simply too good to be misses. Long story short: cancel any plans for after your meal because you'll be in a food coma. Best thing you can do is to go back to the center of Naples by foot and burn those billions of calories.
