I only had two things I needed to pick up and I swear every time I go to a Rite Aid it is like a scavenger hunt. Really have no idea where an item might be because no two Rite Aid is alike. I, of course, ended up with more than the two items I had intentions on getting. Take a moment and check out items they have on sale, especially the seasonal items. You can find some good deals and stock up for next year. Currently, summer items were 50% off. I have to admit, I sometimes forget this location exists. I mean it is on a busy corner in Johnstown, but it is a stand alone store with nothing else really within distance to go to. Unless you want to take a long walk to the strip mall nearby with constant traffic.

Twice Ive been told in the last five months I dont have a refill only to have find out I did. Its been a week since I requested my first refill for omprazole and I still dont have it(not the other rx I requested that ive been on for two year). You will have to fight with them constantly. Nothing is ever ready on time and no one knows whats going on. They dont answer the phones and half the time dont seem to care. If you want medication regularly dont bother.

What Rite Aid used to look like before…read morethey went through that huge expansion which devoured Eckerd/Thrift Drug and caused a lot of stand alone stores to open. This location is part of a plaza and looks as if it has been here for quite a while. It is from that era where it was nothing more than a drug store. Small aisles, about half the size of what we are use to now. Not everything can be found here. I came in just to browse, wasn't really looking for anything. Felt like I was in a time capsule. The aisles are long, they run the whole length of the store, so if you want to go to the next aisle you will have to make sure that you didn't miss anything before you head to the next. Staff were pleasant, very cheerful. They do not always stay at the register. You will find them out in the store stocking items and helping customers. When you finally do make your way to the register you just need to ring the bell on the counter and they will come assist you. Not much else to say about a relic type of store out there. It serves the purpose for area.

Contacted the pharmacy prior to having the script sent here and was told by the pharmacist they would fill it and have the medication in stock. I asked why she could not order it - as the company said there are no supply issues and her pharmacy has been ordering it regularly. She was shocked that the drug company would give me this information and said she never heard of that occurring before and she would be speaking to her manager about this concern. She continued to lie stating they don't have the medication, it is not in stock and refused to order/fill it. I contacted corporate and lodged a complaint, received nothing, called back, and requested it to be escalated. Was told I would be contacted by the region pharmacist in 1 week. Never received any calls/voicemail/response. Utilized a friendly/quick compound pharmacy in the area. My eyes are opening to how big pharma works and chain pharmacies are a thing of the past for me after this behavior.

Aisles feel cramped in here, and you won't find all of what you need here. It is good to be able to stop and grab that one item you needed. But for an extensive grocery shopping you need to do, go to another location. Horrible to get into and out of this location and I have witnessed many near miss accidents at the intersection. I have been a Rite Aide customer for years in multiple states. Rite Aid as a corporation has decided to no longer carry Monjaro or the other medications of this type. I am diabetic and this medication has returned my AM blood sugars to normal or near normal ranges. I can walk to this Rite Aid. The corporate decision to no longer carry these medications is a disservice to their customers. I just spoke with Walmart here in Johnstown and they are currently out of the medication but still carry it.
