Even though it was my first time, I managed to find the items I needed as well, with no problem. I love the layout of the store. Pretty much like the other locations. I highly recommend it and I will be back to shop here more as well:) Next visit I will make sure to bring my phone inside to grab some pics!

the staff at the Aldi in Lexington on Sunset has progressively cared less and less about the way…read morethey interact with customers, but today was by far the worst I've experienced in 6 years and has made me consider doing all of my weekly shopping at another location from now on. every SINGLE one of the staff working today was complete inconsiderate to the few of us shopping. they blocked the aisles stocking not just ONE side of the aisle but both and made no effort to help us figure out how to get around them. one left a pile of boxes in the middle of the row and then walked by me completely as I struggled to move them to get my cart around them. i was cut off THREE TIMES by a staff member that ran in front of me to grab an item off the shelf, and then at the one checkout that was open, they had a pallet stacked well overhead that was blocking HALF of the entrance to the lane itself! when I told the lady at the checkout that she needs to move that so people can get around as I just knocked off gum on the other side of the shelf, she shrugged her shoulders and smirked. to see i am appalled is an understatement

I can go to many different markets for cheaper prices but I was also told you get what you pay for. After standing at the sandwich for 10 min while the person behind the counter was having a conversation with a management comparing note on who had the most memorable upbringing, I was finally acknowledged. The lady behind the counter asked " you want a sandwich "? Before I could reply the other person came back to ask another question about their previous conversation. At this point my child and I decided to leave. We exited receiving the same greeting as we entered,NONE. I will definitely continue to patronize Publix, however this was my first and last time going to this particular location.

That thought is very easy to have because my experience has been great at all Publix stores, and they are branching out further north. I personally think they have better customer service than Wegmans and definitely have better fried chicken (Mardi Gras wings) and sandwiches than many grocery stores. What I like is their commitment to cleanliness and consistency across their chain. It reminds me of HEB in that you do not see employees just standing around. The people who work there are always busy but never so busy that they do not take the time to ask if you need help. There is no issue of trying to pretend they do not see customers or an issue of constantly on their phones.
