Ordered an arrangement for Valentine's Day. The arrangement looked cheap and definitely not worth the amount I spent on it. The flowers on it also started to wilt by the very next day. Definitely not fresh and worth the money. I've gotten flowers from other florists in the past and they lasted more than a day or two. Plus got more bang for my buck. For as long as I can remember, the blossom shop is the place to go to order for pick up beautiful flowers!! I'm not exactly sure how long they've been in business, but I'm pretty sure it's almost as long as I have been alive lol! They provide the best service whether it be delivery or picking up in the store. My husband went into the Shop in person to order flowers...He is a Quad in a wheelchair and cannot manage to get them home so he pays for delivery between 430 to 500...that's when I get home...He was so disappointed when the delivery man put them at the front door on the ground in the sun at 400...He was not able to get them inside himself...He called the shop and told him they had to many deliveries to do what he ask and paid for...No mention of this when he was in shop...They take your money but don't care after that...Only five flowers opened...He was so disappointed after all the effort...Expensive too!! I wanted them to be my Go to florist for my husband but I told him never go there again...They must be to busy to care...Lets see what we can do about that neighbors! No more! read more

Not all florist services are as good as The Blossom Shop. They created and delivered a beautiful bouquet for my wife's birthday. She was wowed by it and said it is perfect. I started an online order Monday morning May 12,2025. Before completing the order, I called Blossom Shop on Gervais St and specifically asked if they could deliver same day and was told yes. I then asked if it could be delivered before 4:30 p.m. and again told yes. Delivery was never made. I tracked the order, and it showed still out for delivery at 6:30 p.m. I received an email late Monday night stating that they ran out of stock for that particular arrangement and couldn't produce my order, the order that showed out for delivery. Delivery was finally made on Tuesday May 13,2025 at 12:30 p.m. And came from a florist in Lexington, not Blossom Shop. Poor service for the money I spent. read more

The Blossom Shop has disappoint me with the three orders I have received. The first one was basically some sticks with only a few flowers. The second and third orders looked like they used flowers that had been sitting around for a week. No rhyme or reason for the arrangement. They were limp and edges were brown. I dutifully kept the water level high but had the throw them away in less than a week's time. We will be looking for a new company to fill our orders. read more

My wife ordered flowers for our church's altar to commemorate both our wedding anniversary and Veterans Day. They were to be delivered today before a 5 o'clock service. They never showed up. We are both very embarrassed and extremely disappointed. Since they close at noon today we'll have to call to get a refund. Addition- they finally showed up 30 minutes before the Saturday service begins. They were suppose to call but did not. Fortunately there was someone there yo accept delivery. In addition, Adair who had only been an acquaintance of the family previously 20 years prior, brought flowers to the funeral home and signed the book BEFORE ANY OF THE FAMILY. It was a private viewing (the room did not even have her name above the door) and I was appalled that she did this. When I explained to the manager what she had done, she came out of the back and tried to take the book in an attempt to deface the book where she had signed it we were literally playing tug of war with the book right in front of customers with him looking on. Absolutely abhorrent behavior from both of them. He should have been falling all over himself to apologize. As for her, this behavior was despicable but not surprising. read more

I cannot say enough about how much I love the Blossom Shop. I have ordered flowers to be delivered to my daughter on several occasions and they are always beautiful and delivered at the time expected. Today, it was very important to me that my daughter was able to receive an arrangement before she left for class. The gentleman on the phone, I wish I had asked his name, was just awesome and empathetic about the situation. RIPPED OFF! BAIT & SWITCH! WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. They divvied out my order to Blossom Shop, Columbia, SC. I ordered "Beautiful Whisper" for $145. Blossom Shop didn't even try to make the arrangement I ordered, but delivered "Cheap and Trashy." They sent me a completely different arrangement that wasn't even close to what I ordered. I then complained, and 1stinFlowers assured me Blossom Shop would replace it with what I ordered. WRONG. They delivered something even worse. Looks like they AGAIN emptied out their cooler and delivered whatever they had left over with a dose of spite and revenge. The arrangement was absolutely horrible!!! It turned my congratulating the recipient into a major aggravation for them. $145 to aggravate the recipient! I then complained again to 1stinFlowers and they completely ignored my email. ADVICE: Do not use hubs like 1stinFlowers. Call a local florist. Ask them if they have the flowers and vase in their inventory to make the arrangement you want sending them a picture of it by email. Get the name of the person you talked to. That way, if they pull a stunt like they did to me, you can hold them directly accountable. There is a REASON 1stinFlowers does not let you post pictures on its FB page. It does NOT want its customers to know they're running a bait and switch operation. read more

Not as pictured. I ordered a bouquet styled as a birthday cake online. The image with the pink flowers is what they showed on their website. The other image is what my recipient got. (Nailed it!) I understand that when you purchase flowers online that there might be some differences between the pictured and actual bouquets, but this is misleading and not at all in line with what I spent. BEWARE the internet search tha yields Blossom Shop in Cola. I thought I was ordering from The store and my flowers were not delivered for five days. Multiple phone calls to the 877 number and many text messages back-and-forth. Finally I called the shop directly and found out that the website was not related to the actual Blossom Shop. I have used this florist all my life and their flowers are always fresh and beautiful and timely delivered. I am so glad I picked up the phone. She said this happens all of the time. read more

I am literally giving 1 star because the person I spoke with was very kind.. but otherwise, the "same-day delivery", which is the reason I came to this business, turned out to be a lie. The delivery is now more than 24 hours late *from the time they said it would be delivered* - not from when I placed the order. I get the feeling that despite being "local" and "family owned" their delivery process is outsourced. I get the sense that bureaucracy and different businesses that are disconnected have made this process slower. I just wish they were honest about delivery times vs. breeding disappointment. My partner has not yet received the flowers but I am concerned from past reviews that the flowers now will not even be what I paid $65 for. So sad :( read more

Spent 30 minutes on their site picking out flowers for my Wife's birthday. I found the perfect bouquet for her, something that was "her" taste and I ordered them online to be delivered the next day to her work. Every man knows how important it is to have pretty flowers delivered to their Wife at work in front of her coworkers! The next afternoon when I asked my Wife how the flowers looked she hesitated and then replied somewhat unenthusiastically "pretty". When I got home and looked at the flowers I thought she was pranking me! The flowers were NOTHING like what I had ordered online... Now, I know that sometimes florists are out of certain flowers and have to substitute some, but there was not a single flower in this bouquet that was in the arrangement I ordered online. And, to top it off, the arrangement looked very puny!! I have seen better arrangements at Wal-Mart for $7.88! I called the next day and was told that Mondays was a bad day for florists, they were usually sold out of flowers from the weekend and have not yet received their truck for the week yet! The guy was nice, but that doesn't change the fact that my wife was embarrassed and I was embarrassed. He offered to send more flowers (too little too late) or refund my money. I told him either send her some flowers that would "knock her socks off" or refund my money. He chose to refund my money. Will never use them again. read more

I'm in California and needed to get some flowers to my mother for her birthday just 3 hours before the shop was to close. No problem, the very friendly and pleasant woman I dealt with quickly found the FTC arrangement I had in mind, did not try to up-sell me and quickly put things in order. A few hours later my mom called to say how much she liked the arrangement. Will definitely call them again in the future. I have been using this shop for years and probably spend close to 1000 a year on arrangements and always refer people to them. I give them credit for having beautiful arrangements, but I am tired of dealing with the gentleman on the phone with a horrible attitude. If you want to want to keep customers you should provide better customer service. I am done referring people to them a will no longer give them my business. I hope they will work on their phone service and voice tone. Easy enough to fix. I wanted to order a custom piece that had the coloration I spied in an arrangement for Valentine's day. Received flowers from here from my fiance. What a beautiful arrangement! The whole room smelt of roses for days. I received them on Tuesday and here it is Saturday and they still look great. I would recommend everyone to get flowers from here. My fiance said they were a little pricey, but I feel they are worth it! They deliver as well. read more

I agree with the previous poster. This place has shady business practices! Went in today to buy two poinsettia plants for my office. I had the company credit card and was told to go specifically to Blossom Shop. I saw a number of different poinsettias around the shop. One specific LARGE plant was going for $55, which I thought was expensive, so I brought two much smaller plants to the counter, assuming they would be much cheaper. I stood there at the counter for at least three minutes before anyone came out. An older man asked me if I was being helped, and I said no, that I wanted to buy the two plants, but not the baskets that were with them. He asked if I wanted them wrapped in foil, so I said I did... Was not told there would be a charge for this or how much the plants would cost. I stand there for another ten minutes while he goes in the back to wrap them. When he finally comes out, he has the plants wrapped with large bows and foil (I did not ask for bows) and has his coworker ring up my order. "Ring up two poinsettias at $65." My thoughts: "WHAT IN THE!?!?" So we paid $140 bucks including tax for two mediocre poinsettias that could have been bought at Lowe's for a dollar a piece. My boss was mad that I went ahead with the purchase, but I had no idea... I am amazed at how shoddy this place is. I should have complained, but these people were intimidating... Hopefully this review will keep someone else from getting swindled. read more

RIP OFF! TRUST ME. I was sent a supposed $75 dollar arrangement by a friend. I would've thought it came from Walmart floral stand near the produce section:-( I was shocked to see a Blossom Shop card on it! After talking to several other previous customers it seems they rip off out of town call in customers routinely. I had the worst experience with the owner of this shop . I ordered an arrangement for my daughter who just had a baby . The next morning the flowers were wilted especially the hydrangeas . Watch out for bait and switch! I ordered an arrangement based on a Teleflora website description. First off, the colors in the arrangement did not match what was on the website. Also, the Teleflora website had the price listed as $40. They charged me $80!!! I was told that the Teleflora prices were national averages. I called the Blossom Shop, just praying that somehow I could get an arrangement there on time but feeling sure it would be impossible.
