My wife and are new to the area and today is my wife's birthday. My parents from out of town sent a beautiful flower arrangement from Storey's Florist. The arrangement was made by Kathy the owner and her awesome employee Billy delivered it. It was great to meet Billy and as it turns out he's very good friends with my neighbors. Not a surprise, he is such a nice guy. Beautiful arrangement and great people... all awesome reasons to do business locally with Storey's Florist. We ordered through Kremps florist and roses were delivered from Storey's florist. Flowers were already wilting when delivered. Refusing to provide a refund and we were charged $200. The flowers weren't even arranged. They look like they were grabbed from the pick up bucket, unwrapped, and dropped in a vase. We attempted to get a refund, but have been told the roses are perfectly fine. You can see in the pictures that they are not, definitely not for $200! We would not do business with either of these florists again. read more

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June. Since then Billy has delivered gorgeous bouquets week after week. I've been overwhelmed by the support I've received from friends, family, and colleagues. I live in Texas and my son and daughter in law live in Lexington. Since all this COVID-19 craziness has kept us all at home, my daughter in law has her hands full with three children, two of school age and one that's in the throes of the Terrible Twos. So she's teaching at home, working from home, and trying to make sure the family is taken care of. I wanted to send her flowers for Mother's Day, just to let her know how much I love and appreciate everything she does for everyone. I went online and ordered a pretty bouquet with lavender and roses, and wasn't sure which florist would actually be fulfilling the order, since the online floral company contracts with several in the area. The flowers were delivered today, and they are more beautiful than the original photo I saw online! I can't say enough about how great a job Storey's did with this order. Not knowing the other shop and the town I choose this shop. My plant basket neeed to be sent to Leesville,SC. My Mom ordered flowers from Mrs. Storey to put in the church in memory of my father on what would have been their anniversary. Despite explicit instructions that the sanctuary is under renovation and the services are being held in a different room, she still tried to barge into the sanctuary and, when she couldn't get in, shoved the flower arrangements in a back room. They were found on Monday morning. When Mom called, Mrs. Storey was rude and tried to claim that she was caught in a rain storm (rain was forecast) and she nearly fell on the steps. She never offered restitution for flowers that she intentionally shoved where she knew they wouldn't be found. Fortunately, our church does live feeds, so you can see that there were no flowers on the altar on June 13 except a wreath that was provided for somebody else from a different florest. Mom said Mrs. Storey was repeatedly rude and combative during the process. Don't do business with these people. They're so rude that they need to close down. That's no way to treat the bereaved, and there's no excuse for her behavior or her attitude. She should have gone to the church earlier Saturday to deliver the flowers and called Mom if she was confused about where to take them. Mom or I would have gladly met her there in 10 minutes to assist her. Mrs. Storey's rudeness and attitude are inexcusable. I don't consider those flowers delivered. She either owes Mom a refund, or restitution by providing more flowers free of charge on another Sunday of our choosing. read more

cathy Storey and I went to school together. she's a sweet caring lady. her parents started the florist shop about the time cathy was born. my family and I love cathy's flower arrangements! I found a picture of one I wanted 1 made like and hers was soo much prettier than the original that I told her i'd seen in a magazine and asked her to make 1 like for me.
