As well as a good range of shops there is also a holmes place gym which is accessible via the car park. Some big named shops are available in the observatory including Argos, TK Maxx, Peacocks etc. Accessible via the main high street this shopping centre can get very busy, especially in peak times.

The Queensmere shopping centre also has a cinema attached to it, when we were last living there it was a virgin cinema, but like others it has moved hands over to Cineworld. I checked out Harrods before catching my flight and was happy to see all the merchandise they had, especially since it's just an airport location, so the inventory is limited. But it was nice to see the designers they offered here, and since I love Tory Burch, they had an entire section just for Tory Burch. The staff were super friendly and even told me what products would be cheaper to get back home versus in London, so it wasn't all about them making money. I ended up getting a Tory Burch card wallet and they escorted me to the other section of Harrods where they offered more of their gift items. This was perfect as I was able to get some gifts for loved ones. Glad I was able to get a glimpse of Harrods, a London specialty.

I consider it always worth a look because if they have it, it'll be reasonable enough quality and a great price.

Fast forward to my most recent trips to the UK I was pleased to discover that M&S was alive and well, and for some reason, what I previously resented about them, I now loved! Great clothes for all occasions for the adult ME, a full out grocery store with lots of convenient options for the busy person, an extensive war chest of boozy treats (complete with spirits, wines and great local UK craft beers).
