Asked her why I wasn't just told that from the beginning (because I knew they were trying to BS me at this point) and the coordinator said they're a small practice and won't accept my "horrible attitude". Crazy because for being a small practice you'd think they'd actually have customer service. As someone who works in a professional setting, I know how important it is for customer service to start with the person who picks up the phone. The receptionist and staff are not only uninformed. but have zero compassionate for potential patients. I wasn't even calling for myself and I couldn't imagine having my client call to ask for help. I would not want anyone to experience what I experienced on the other side of the phone. The people calling are patients with real medical needs that are already having a difficult time navigating the unfortunate hassle it takes to speak with Insurance companies and various doctors and all while dealing with painful injuries or conditions. I understand that sometimes it's easy to forget that we deal with people's real life situations but when you work in a professional setting you must always put your patients/customers/clients first.
