Before the scandal, his presidency reshaped both foreign and domestic policy in ways that still impact us today. On the global stage: * He made a historic visit to China in 1972, opening diplomatic relations after decades of isolation--completely shifting the balance of the Cold War * He negotiated détente with the Soviet Union, including arms control agreements that helped ease nuclear tensions * He worked to wind down U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War and ended the military draft At home: * He established the Environmental Protection Agency, laying the groundwork for modern environmental protection * Signed the Clean Air Act and supported major environmental reforms * Advanced policies that reshaped federal power and economic strategy during a time of national division What stands out in the museum is how these accomplishments are presented alongside the unraveling of the Watergate scandal--a moment that led to his resignation and permanently changed public trust in government. It's a rare place where you're forced to hold two truths at once: A president who made major global strides... and a presidency that ended in one of the most significant political scandals in American history.

Many people praise the kids' area and family-friendly programming, and there's also a great used-book nook run by Friends of Yorba Linda Public Library Book Corner that's perfect for finding cheap finds and supporting local programs. There are also useful services like passport processing, study rooms, public computers, and events for all ages, which go beyond what some smaller libraries offer and make it a hub for different members of the community. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, like many popular libraries, it can get crowded during peak hours, and I've heard a few rare comments from other visitors saying staff interactions upstairs haven't always been great though most experiences I've seen are positive overall. Overall, it's a comfortable, well-stocked library with good amenities and a welcoming community atmosphere definitely worth a visit if you want a quiet place to read, study, take the kids, or just hang out.

The YBL Library is seriously one of the most user-friendly libraries around. I found out that they have hold feature alone is a game changer--super easy to place holds online and pick them up when they're ready. This service does saves some time but ruins the experience of browsing in the library. This library have two floors. The 2nd floor have a Help Desk, which an extremely nice librarian, that's so nice and easy to talk to. There's lots of computer available for use which is great for studying or working. There are tons of tables, so you're not fighting for a seat, and the conference rooms you can book are perfect for group projects. They also have a printing station, which is incredibly helpful when you need to print something last minute. Overall, it's clean, well-organized, and clearly designed with students and the community in mind. Highly recommend!

It's a very unique place that reminds me of a mini-Madonna Inn. There's a large outdoor area with a huge gazebo like structure, a massive dance floor, another outdoor area that is like a small Main Street ala Disneyland, a Victorian styled room for people to relax, changing rooms, plenty of restrooms, plus my other amenities that I can't remember. The decorations are thematic and change every couple of months. They usually are Asian/African/European/Hispanic themes. They even provide appropriate themed entertainment in the outdoor gazebo. The African dancers are a blast! The one thing that everyone likes about this place is that they really look after it's clients. They have a seamstress on duty for dances to prevent someone's dream night from turning into a nightmare. For chapparones, there's a room all to themselves to chill out and talk crap about how the kids are dressed and they even get their own snacks. They even provide their own security! I highly reccommend this place if anyone is looking to hold a large party/dance/soiree/shindig. There's really no where else like it and it's a safe and fun environment.

It's located in Anaheim, CA. This museum has good art galleries and revolving exhibits. Similarly, it has become part of the Carnegie Library which gives visitors full access. The museums current exhibits were a collection of the 60th Annual Juried show by Anaheim Art Association. Some of the art displayed on the galleries can be purchased while some are NFS. Admission ticket is $10 bucks. A female staff was friendly. Gift store is tiny with few art souvenirs, tote bags, decal stickers, mugs, books, and merch. We visited during the weekday whereby scant visitors are in the museum. Street Parking is nonexistent, however, plenty of timed parking structures adjacent and across from the museum. Overall, it's a decent museum with good art exhibits. You can finish it in under an hour. I still recommend you visit if you're in the area.

How privileged we are to be able to learn about Korean culture by highly qualified Korean…read moreinstructors from Korea sponsored by King Sejong Institute and the South Korean government -- and additional sponsor, Nongshim. Today I learned about the history, style, lore, importance of the beoseon. I had no idea! After the lesson (lectured in Korean and English), we had the opportunity to practice writing Korean on our beoseon with our black calligraphy pens and cutting out the shape of the beoseon. We then transitioned to sewing our beoseon pattern pouch. I learned that the pouch is significant because it stores the pattern from which your beoseons are made. For example, in olden days, part of a bride's preparation was to make 100 beoseons and bring them to her new family's home. Typically, she would gift each adult in that household 10 beoseons each. Today's experience made me once again appreciate my Korean heritage and fanned a desire in me to learn more. I look forward to more education and making of memories at this fine institution and program. (Note, I was ambitious today. I took back to back classes. The 2nd class was about the ear-shaped pouch. It is a simple but elegant, traditional, and practical pouch to carry money, ID, tobacco, etc.). Two thumbs way up for both classes today. The lecturer was top notch and passionate about her topic, and the staff on site were all welcoming and helpful. I hope to experience more with this group! #2025SejongCultureAcademy #KingSejongInstituteFoundation #KoreanCulture
