Rosary graduates are ready to walk in faith and lead with confidence. They have grown as individuals, discovered their true identities, expressed their uniqueness, found their voices, and have embraced success. Students are complete, confident young women who hold Christ and Mary at the center of all they do. As a Catholic faith community, Rosary begins each day with prayer and gathers for masses as well as for prayer services throughout the year. While Rosary Academy offers rigorous academics that includes numerous AP and Honors courses, they also provide a collaborative learning environment. Teachers are very engaging and interactive during classes always playing games, singing songs, or facilitating discussions. What makes students stand out is their ability to speak their mind in class without being shut down or judged. Their voices are heard, and they share their brilliant ideas while respecting the opinions of others. At Rosary Academy, we stand in faith, we stand together, and we stand tall. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Most of what I wrote above is total rubbish and I will now go to confession. Truthfully, you will be paying A LOT for a sisterhood that a majority of girls will seek again with sororities in college. It was less High School Musical and more Mean Girls. Most teachers are very caring and set high expectations (as they should since tuition is costly). I can't say Rosary prepared me for science courses or has much diversity, but maybe that's different these days. Try and humble the privileged girls and their snobby parents. Hindsight is 20/20. Rather than throwing money down the toilet for four years send your daughter to Troy High School or Oxford Academy. Apply the $50,000+ savings towards college tuition. Now, most Catholics will tell you... going to Mass on Sunday's any time after 9AM is like packing yourself into a sardine can. You'll have to fight for parking like it's Christmas at the shopping malls and squeeze yourself into the pews like you're waiting in lines at Disneyland. I don't know what it is about St. Juliana... maybe the word hasn't gotten out about this parish that has been here since 1965, but it's gotta be the best keep secret in town. It's never a problem to find parking, and the church rarely gets full, even for a prime time service at 11:00 AM. I also love that they have a special service for the Deaf community, integrating a sign language facilitator right next to the lectors. It is a small church compared to most, but well lit and air conditioned. The inside of the church reminds me of being in an overturned boat, with huge wooden support arches spanning the circumference of the building. St. Juliana is located right across the street from Cal State Fullerton. Super convenient to get to, near the 57 freeway, and with a great staff (Suzie in the office is just about the nicest person you'll ever meet), with an attached elementary school, and a very involved community, I wonder why it's not jam-packed every Sunday. Then again, I should shut up about it and enjoy the status-quo while it lasts!

They nickel and dime you to death. They will charge you for sneezing in the wrong place. And during the COVID crisis, they are still charging for the daycare hours. They claim to be offering instruction online, but they aren't offering daycare. It doesn't bother me as much, but we know of families with babies in room 1. The videos this place is posting don't help at all. They aren't providing their service anymore and they are not adjusting the room 1 families' tuition. That's just not right. So, we like the treatment our children received here, but I question the ethics of a place that is this much about the bottom line.

Pricing: comparing to the big corp Childtime and all of those, this school is reasonable! He is always happy, silly and comes home doing something new after each week at school. The staff is really what makes this experience so special for us -- every single teacher in room 1. Choosing a school for my first born, while battling the tail-end of PPD was so challenging, but I am so happy to say, ivy crest was one of the best decisions I've made for my son and our family.

They say it takes a village...what better village than Arborland Montesorri!…read more Dr Chen and Ms Chen have created a wonderful place where kids can thrive and really come into their own. It's been a pleasure watching our kids grow under the tutelage of Ms Cole (and Ms Rokosz) and Ms Villaruel and her aides. Admin staff Ms Bree and Ms Kristine are great as well. One thing that stands out is the emphasis on public speaking and developing self-confidence through a variety of performances, events and daily tasks. Academically, expect your kids to reach higher (national) grade equivalency due to their strong course curriculum. Some things that we've grown to appreciate: - Variety of after school activities - Amazing teachers and staff - Convenient location for pickup/dropoff - Involved community via engaged students and parents - Lunch menu that kids actually look forward to eating - Annual events and performances It's unfortunate reading some of the negative reviews. What I've encountered has been nothing but positive feedback and a tribe of dedicated individuals who truly want to see your child succeed.

I'm leaving this review because my child's experience in the primary classroom run by Ms. Cole was…read moredeeply concerning, and the school's response felt unsupportive and not emotionally safe for young children. From the time my son started in Ms. Cole's classroom, we saw a major shift in his wellbeing and behavior. He became anxious about school, and at home we began dealing with behaviors we had not experienced before. Most alarming: when Ms. Cole's name is mentioned, my son becomes visibly distressed. A child being that upset at the mention of an adult at school is a serious red flag and should be taken extremely seriously. Which, they did not. To make sure we were being fair and objective, we observed the classroom via the school's camera for nearly two hours with Dr. Chen, the former school principal. During that time, our concerns were not subtle, they were very clear. The overall tone felt cold and emotionally disconnected, and we did not observe warmth or affection toward the children. In our experience, Ms. Cole and Ms. Rokosz were far from affectionate, especially compared to educators like Ms. Ashley, who demonstrated a noticeably warmer and more nurturing presence. We had the chance to address this to them in person during a meeting. When my husband and I raised concerns, I did not feel the school approached the situation with openness, empathy, or a child-centered mindset. The environment did not feel emotionally supportive, and it did not feel like they were willing to thoughtfully adapt or collaborate to meet a child's needs. For a program that promotes Montessori values, the lack of emotional attunement and support was disappointing. The clearest proof for our family is what happened next: we moved our son to a new Montessori program, and within just five days all of the "bad behavior" stopped. That change was immediate and dramatic. The new school is truly night and day, teachers are warm, affectionate, responsive, and supportive, and the children there genuinely seem happier and more at ease. I don't write negative reviews lightly, but parents deserve to know that this primary classroom setting did not work for our child and the school did not handle our concerns in a way that felt supportive or emotionally safe. I strongly encourage leadership to take a hard look at classroom culture, communication with parents, and how children's emotional needs are being handled, because for us, the impact was significant. I cannot in good conscience recommend enrolling any child in this school.

As a current parent of a Child in Mrs. Joyces class and as a parent who works for the public school…read moredistrict for TK grade level, I would like to state that I am grateful that children with behaviors are not tolerated given this small school setting. This is not a public school district. This is again is a very small, private school setting. Private being key as there are no psychologist , behavior therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist or solo instructional assistant available that are needed to support a child who is experiencing behavior related outburst. It is not fair to the child attending and is not fair to their fellow peers as well. This has nothing to do with diagnosing or evaluations either. It does not matter if a child is indeed experiencing a speech delay as the parent stated, or if the child is struggling with emotional regulations on a whole. Again there are no speech therapist or psychologist in this private school setting. Point being a child who is excessively tantruming or who is physically aggressive towards other students causes for an all over chaotic school environment. I understand the parent above feels they were done wrong but on the other side, it is not fair to ALL of their fellow peers. A single student does not deserve the sole attention of the teacher and their aid in-order for a classroom to function. I have participated first hand in a class with a monopolizing behavior student and the rest of the class struggles emotionally and educationally as a direct result. The other peers tend to suffer with emotional detachment from parents, are more likely to behave inappropriately by following actions from the peer who has behaviors, feel injustice as attention is not equally given amongst the class, feeling unsafe as behaviors cause a chaotic, unsafe environments and of course learn less as a whole. Some might be upset but I feel more confident in this school because of their actions and choice to support the whole and not a singular child. They know their limits and are therefore are being considerate of the entirety, including the student who was dismissed. If a child's speech is delayed to the significance of outburst from frustrations, then personally I would too suggest either a different program for that child or re-entrance when communication needs can be met effectively. I can empathize with a parent in being upset when hearing something they perceive as negative about their child. Delays are not negative in my perspective , they are just a road bump some children face during development. For any other parents reading this and who want an assessment: Early intervention is offered through the Regional Center in your County for 0-3 years of age. After 3 years of age the program is shifted to Head Start. You can find this through the public school district linked to your home mailing address. All assessments and services are FREE for your child if any are needed.
