In the chair, get some x-rays and then dentist, Dr Nicholas comes in to check me out and do the long overdue cleaning. Given that this is long overdue, the process was relatively painless. Afterwards, she discussed my situation, made some recommendations and we came up with a treatment plan. While the news is not all good, I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. They simply shut you down when it comes to enquiring about a new insurance provider. When I called over to Dental365, right next door to them, who is listed as an in-network provider for my insurance carrier; the woman was super nice and gave me the hint I needed to make a more informed decision. She showed empathy and advised me on how my carrier works. The conversation was less than 2 minutes. In turns out while Dr. Leiman used to be in-network 5 years ago my insurance carrier has yet to update their database :[ Her help at least clued me in to ask the right questions before trying to make an appointment. Fortunately, I found another dentist. The woman was also super nice and helpful. Insurance in the US couldn't possibly be more complicated so it would be nice if Doctor's staff could give helpful clues instead of just a hard no!

On arrival the office is very clean. We were greeted by the Doctor's receptionist who by the way is lovely. The doctor saw my husband. Then the three of us sat down and spoke about the treatment plan. Dr. Dogus was pleased that I asked a lot of questions and was happy to answer any of my concerns. The last time I went My bill was for $150.00 which I paid in full. A couple of months later I got a statement from my insurance that $35.00 was sent to Briteway. I called and Amanda told me they would reimburse me. i guess the head dentist did not agree and Amanda called and said they were not returning my money. I did not even know they were filing claims on my behalf and then keeping the money. Be careful because if they know your insurance company this is what they do. Unethical! For quite some time I did not feel confident with the dentists in this group. I am kind of glad this happened because I changed dentists and am happy to be away from them.

Lobby: old and dingy! Dental rooms: old and tiny, I'll go as far as saying 'antiquated!' I was actually a little concerned about the overall cleanliness as this place really requires a huge overhaul. Lastly, I was told by one of the receptionists that my type of dental insurance was accepted. Lo and behold, I go to check-out (for what was my first and LAST visit), and they DON'T take my form of insurance anymore (as if this decision was literally just made!).
