He and his guys showed up on time, everything went as planned, and it was finished in the time he said it would be finished. I had A LOT of bids for this project because I needed it to be done right... I live on a hill and had a water problem that needed a real solution, and my neighbor recently had a drain put in that immediately clogged and doesn't work. Eric's plan made the most sense and was in alignment with my research on what I needed. Some of the other contractors wanted to put in a 2' deep drain, but my water problem went deeper (there's a 5' crawlspace under my porch where water was pouring into). He correctly moved the water out to the side of the house, (combined my gutter into it), and all the way down the hill emptying into a flatter area and into a gravel pit. So far, it's working great and I'm very pleased.

Brain, rep. spent 45 minutes inspecting our crawl space to assess rodent damage. My wife & I listened carefully to Brian's findings(we had two previous inspections/ estimates by other companies) I found Brian's findings lacking, and I respectfully asked if he'd found any damage to crawl space vents. (prior to the inspection I stressed the need to seal off any rodent access points before undertaking repairs) He said he had inspected vents & that ALL vents were in good shape. At which point I politely excused my self to leave my wife to complete interview. I exited the house to check vent openings, many of the vents screens were visibly dislodged allowing for potential rodent access points.(as found by previous inspections by other co.'s) When returning to the interview I politely shared my concerns about compromised vents and recommended Brian add vent repairs to estimate. While always polite, Brian agreed, but his demaener moved from confident to visibly 'rattled' through the remaining interview. While his previous intent was to leave us a written bid, he explained that before reducing the bid to writing he would need a more thorough & calculated analysis of his findings/ price. He said he would email us the estimate later that evening. After the remaining 30 minutes & on his departure Brian apparently changed his thinking about a more thorough & calculated consideration of a written estimate. by throwing out a verbal 'trial-balloon', in the form of a dollar figure for repairs. I was astounded by the sum, which represented a figure more than two times higher than the bids we had acquired from other companies, It is important to note; that upon arriving at our home and prior to inspecting our crawl space, Brian began strongly recommending a comprehensive; 'encapsulation system'' for our crawl space. Which Brian admitted may be a higher priced solution. After establishing my reservation, my sense of his preoccupation gave me pause! (he had not yet inspected crawl space damage, and remained on the encapsulation discussion, beyond my verbal reservations about same.) CAVEAT EMPTOR!!! Mike W. P.S. I hired Rain Pros because I had a downspout that was clogged where it went underground. They were…read moreable to clean out a lot of mud/roots, etc. but were not able to get their snake more that 4 feet into the underground pipe, possibly because of some sort of T junction. We then went to plan B, which was to install a new underground pipe with a "popup" to disperse the water onto the driveway. The installation looks very good, but the true test will come when we have a heavy rainstorm. The reason why I gave only 4 stars was because of their arrival time. They had an arrival window of 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm but they showed up just after 10:00 am! Fortunately, we were available at that time (and not out walking the dog). My experience with most contractors is that they will call or text to let you know when they're on the way and give you an ETA - I received neither. Again, the quality of their work appears top-notch, but the lack of timely communication should be addressed.
