The owner was super friendly and directed us to the lychee that were priced at half the cost on Amazon. Purchased two cans and chatted with the owner about making a Lychee Martini. She said alot of customers come to buy the lychee in syrup since most commercial supermarkets dont carry it in their inventory, which we have noticed. Love this little Asian market in Deerfield Beach. Stumbled upon this when I was leaving Sprouts. It's directly across Federal Hwy just south of SW 10th and next to Phat Boy Sushi with plenty of parking right in front. Firstly, let me emphasize, this small family grocery is spotless! The owners are always present and they are THE nicest people. Always asking if they can help, they are charming & really know their inventory. If somethings not in stock, they will let you know when it's coming in. Mostly Vietnamese, Thai foods and condiments are carried here and there's always a nice supply of fresh authentic vegetables. The refrigerator case has Thai eggplants and broccoli. Big bags of fresh cilantro, bean sprouts, snow peas and my favorite Thai basil. This is heaven if you cook with fresh vegetables and very reasonably priced. If you like Tom Yom soup, they carry a canned version, which is pretty good and spicy add some cooked shrimp and you're good to go. They also carry spring roll wraps, sushi supplies, shrimp chips. They need to be cooked so I popped them in the air fryer and they are just as good as the Vietnamese Pho restaurants. They have 2 freezers with frozen meat, vegetables and hard to find these days, calamari. If you like Shu mai, pick up a couple of boxes. Need condiments? They carry soy, ponzu, oyster and all types of other sauces. These days I prefer to support local, so I highly recommend BG Asian. read more

Nice neighborhood Asian market. Prices are a bit higher than other Asian markets in Boca/Broward, and this shop is a bit smaller than most. However, the store is always very clean and well organized. Things are easy to find and they have a decent variety of ramen, sauces, noodles, snacks, and fresh/frozen goods. Truly, the highlight here is the nice customer service. I don't know why I drive out of my way to help this little market by buying anything. It's twice now that something is missing in my bag yes just the 1 bag. It's specific when I go in there and to come home to find out that an item didn't make it in my bag again, tells me not to go back ever again. Waste of time and definitely on top of over priced items. I'd rather go to the Vietnamese Markets. Calling them doesn't help when they don't answer and to bother to drive out there again to justify the purchase doesn't assist me so I'm just going to say NEVER AGAIN and cut my loses. After being in so many sad and run down Asian groceries, Bg really was a pleasant surprise. I wandered across this quaint little spot on US 1, looking for a new Asian grocery, as my previous one had gone down hill. I parked where it should be but didn't see it right away. It's a little corner shop on the West side it turns out. I walked into a small but clean and bright place. There was a smiling cashier that asked what I was looking for. When I said "Mama ramen pork, by the case", she hustled me over to a spot in the store that had a few cases. I grabbed 2 cases so that I was covered for a couple months. Since I was there already and had found what I was looking for in quick time, I looked around. There was a bunch of Pocky options(breadsticks covered in different types of chocolate), and lots of other fun options. My daughter is vegan and there was alot of strange options for this, so I started to grab different fun ideas for Vegans. I found a few seaweed cakes, rice cakes and other things that she ended up loving. I'm glad I found a new option for getting Asian groceries supplies.. Good spot! read more

This is a small store but you can find pretty much everything you need to cook a meal. It's hard to find to a good Asian grocery store on this side of town so I'm grateful to be able to pick up a few things on my way home from work. I like their pork sausages from the cooler, so delicious and right amount of spice. They always have fresh lemongrass, green papaya and fresh herbs. Pro tip: On Saturday, they have some ready made Thai dishes available for sale. I have tried pretty much everything and I haven't had anything I didn't like. What a wonderful market. The owners and staff are very friendly and they have a pretty good variety for a small location. The produce always varies but what I like is they have the stuff you can't always find at the regular food store. Very tiny Asian mart but a diamond in the rough. Deerfield Beach isn't overflowing with Asian marts and this is the only place within a 20/30 minute drive radius with the small selection of Asian veggies to tons of curry pastes and seasonings (very Thai oriented). The variety of ramen is small but up to date with the latest super popular Korean spicy ramen in all 4 flavors (hot, 2x spicy, cheese, curry)! Great little shop, wish they were closer to the house and observed the Covid -19 guidelines better. Very friendly staff/owners and a good selection for such a small space. This Asian grocery store has been our go to since we moved to Deerfield Beach. It is one of the only stores that carries fresh Thai basil by the bag full and our personal favorite almond crush Pocky. If you've never tried it, do yourself the favor and grab yourself a box, you won't regret it! They also started carrying mochi ice cream, which are delicious. Everything is reasonably priced. You're not going to find quality fresh Asian ingredients like this at the local Publix. You know how you crack open "fresh" ginger at Publix and it's a dull, yukon yellow with a tint of green? How about BRIGHT bumble bee yellow ginger from BG Asian, bursting with bold ginger flavor! Cho A Dong market is awesome if you're in central Broward County, but BG's is perfect if you're on the east side and don't want to make the drive. read more

Went there to buy red curry to make a Thai recipe and I was able to find a the ingredients I needed in order to make it. A very clean little shop with a decent selection of mostly Thai products. Many interesting items, almost all canned or dry, some frozen.

I normally stop in once in a while to get ingredients for lumpia, pancit, and Sinigang, which are Filipino dishes. There aren't really any Filipino products besides the Sinigang mix but I buy the noodles and spring roll wrapper they have in stock. They mainly have Thai, Japanese, and Chinese stuff which I like to try the soups and my kids like the little snacks. The place is clean and the owners are all very nice. Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve is coming up so I'll definitely stop in and stock up. read more
