Horrible customer service. Christmas just passed. My husband accidentally threw out his gift…read morereceipts from 2 separate gifts. We went in to ask if we could exchange them. We assumed they'd give us store credit without a receipt. Both items had their tags on. The store said they'd take the items back but take off 20% value for not having a receipt. They're getting their item back in perfect unused shape and want to take extra money from you for an accident? You can find better stores that will build better loyalty without ripping its customers off.

My parents and I have been loyal customers of this store for years (I'm reclining against a pillow…read morefrom the store as I write this) and I always make a point to visit whenever I'm back in Buffalo, even though I now live in Las Vegas. This winter break, I found a gorgeous sequined Bills jacket (blue base, red sleeves) priced at $217. They were offering 25% off Bills gear at the time, but I wanted to think it over before making the purchase. Laux had the same with colors reversed for $115 but I prefer the jacket to be more of the blue than red. *The one pictured is the Laux one. Unfortunately, due to a flight issue, I wasn't able to return to the store as planned before leaving town. On January 2nd, I emailed the store explaining the situation and inquiring about having the jacket shipped. I received no response. I sent a follow-up email and again got no reply. I finally called the store to explain what happened and asked if they would honor the sale price since I had tried contacting them earlier. The woman said that they don't ship if it's not listed in the website, which is fair.I even mentioned I have a relative who could pick it up for me. The response? They wouldn't honor the sale price as the sale is over. I understand policies, but the lack of response to my emails and unwillingness to assist a repeat customer felt like poor customer service as I attempted to get in contact with them during the sale. I've always enjoyed shopping here, but this experience has left questioning if I will be back or recommend it to others.

I had a great time looking around at all of the neat stuff! I wasn't in need of anything so I was just window shopping. My favorite find were cans of spaghettios and ravioli that looked totally real, but we're actually safes you could store valuables in. Very clever. Here are some items you can expect to find here: Clothing: novelty tshirts of local restaurants that are no longer around, such as the ground round, Bills gear, Buffalo-themed shirts Costumes and accessories to buy (kids and adults) and rent. Toys / games Glass smoking accessories Gnomes Greeting cards Cards for play/magic Prank toys (candy that actually tastes horrible, fake vomit, fake dirty adult diapers, and a million other things) Novelty drink ware Unique gift ideas It's the kind of store you find one-of-a-kind items you don't see everywhere you go.

On the one hand, this place probably doesn't have a lot of direct competition. On the other hand,…read moreservice was great. A cast mate recommended it when I asked if she knew a good place to find stage makeup. They have a small but solid assortment of both grease and water based paint. Prices were good, comparable or better than what I've seen online plus they helped me choose between grease and water based paint. I was in and out in under five minutes. I'll definitely be back the next time I need stage makeup when street make up is inadequate for my needs. They also have an assortment of costumes, magic items and various other things, but I didn't have a chance to check it all out. Cool place.

A curtain to hide without having a door to go through (awkward with a stroller) and a curved glass block wall to let in light. Great. The rest of the mall is nice, clean, easy to get around with lots of store. This place is huge. Dave and Busters is fun. escalators are pretty easy to find (again the stroller). Bathrooms were clean and can accommodate many. Good variety at the food court. Large parking lot surrounding the entire mall with many entrances. Easy access from the highway, dedicated entrance from the I-190.

Fast forward to today and it is still a cool place AND most importantly, it still is open with a bunch of new stores. I think what makes this mall special is the collection of things it has in and around it. The restaurants here are all really good if you need any ideas for dinner. The stores are all good size and there's a movie theater. That's my main reason I have been there a lot recently. It is a huge mall and they're open early for folks just to walk around before stores opening. There really is something for everyone at this mall and I am glad it's still open and continuing to keep improving with new stores opening up.

This store has wonderful art treasures and I love stores that support local artists. Unfortunately the store owner is insolent. I work in a customer facing role and I would never treat my customers the way she did. The owner obviously only cares about making money and not representing local artists because there's been reviews to give the owner an opportunity of growth, but clearly no growth was had. I feel bad for the artists that lost sales because of her. I would not recommend this store from a customer experience OR an artist looking to collaborate. 5/5 stars for the Dina (the cat) though!

This store is the crown jewel of the scene. We enter to a serene, chill vibe. Open and easy to navigate, with well curated displays of local and sustainable items. So many great choices. I picked up a candle set inside a beer bottle from a local brewery, as Lion is a big micro brewery fan. The sales associate carefully wrapped and boxed it so it was basically ready to be given as a gift for his upcoming birthday. Parking on Elmwood is street and metered, so be prepared. Definitely a great stop for the lover of the local, crafted, creative and funky.
