So I decided to check out this fairly new store that opened in the old Pier One location. I wasn't…read moreeven sure what kind of store it was. Ends up, they sell high end clothing, shoes, bags, and jewelry. The store is very spacious and wide open with comfy chairs and couches in the middle and lined up near the dressing rooms. The dressing rooms looked really nice! When entering, I received a slight smile and head nod from an employee. She was one of several, possibly 6 or 7, wandering around the store. I don't like being followed in a store but also received no offer asking if I needed help or direction. I'm not sure about the whole idea of the bar. I walked by, but it didn't really seem open. Prices were a bit higher than I was expecting but may be fine for others. Will I return? Most likely not, but would still suggest others check it out and make their own decision. Just not for me. 2023-85

The girl was so quiet and when I looked at her she wasn't smiling at me so I wasn't sure to be honest. I was not approached the rest of the time I was there which, I don't want sales forced upon me but a nice welcome and run down of the store seems standard for a new business but I guess not. I think this can improve. The aesthetic of the store was very pleasing! Clean, big, bright, well-organized, easy to find things. Plenty of fitting rooms and chairs for those waiting or to try on shoes. There is a bar with seats that's cute but no one was back there so maybe you have to ask to be served. The prices are on the high end. I picked up some earrings I thought were cute and they were around $200 (not gold or diamond anything). I picked up some shoes I loved, one pair also around $200, another almost $300. A cute little cotton tank top was $38. Now, I do believe the products are adorable and of high quality so I'm not complaining per se, but if you're more of a bargain shopper (or a maxxinista like me) you may not be in the right place. Aside from clothing, shoes, and accessories, there are hair and skin products and candles galore. I would say the best age group for this stores style is 16-25. Just make sure you are prepared to spend these sort of prices and if so, you are sure to leave happy.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and asked what I was looking for. I said I was searching for a short dress while literally standing in front of two racks of short dresses. The sales associate then told me this "wasn't the place for me" because most of their dresses are long, and there wasn't much she could do to help. This was said in front of a store full of customers, which was honestly embarrassing. What made it even more frustrating is that I've shopped here before and fully expected to need alterations, so length wasn't an issue at all. We left immediately, feeling uncomfortable, and were halfway to our car when the associate followed us out to suggest we try Macy's instead. As we were leaving, another customer even came out and told us to go to Windsor if we wanted better service and cuter options which says a lot. Overall, the experience was rude, creepy, and unprofessional. If customer service matters to you, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

This store was my introduction to the chain and Kohl's cash. Last month, my original plan was to stay in Buffalo. I changed my mind and ended up in Niagara Falls for the first time. However, I had placed an order for pickup at this store, to stroll down memory lane and take advantage of a sale on a pair of Vans sneakers. Sure, I could have found a closer Kohl's, but I wanted to return to where my love for this chain started. My drive was pleasant after work on a Monday evening. It felt the same. I pulled into the parking lot, and was happy to see this store was still alive and kicking. The difference was that Sephora wasn't a part of this Kohl's back then. It was my first time picking up an order here, which was also new to me at this store. I walked in and noticed how clean it was. Spring and gardening merchandise greeted me. It was cheerful and inviting. There were signs pointing me to the washroom and the self-pickup order area. The former seemed like a good idea. The powder area (seems so dated as a term, but it's what I'm going to call it) was pretty, with a flower arrangement in front of a large mirror. The women's washroom was nicely maintained. It was clean. No complaints. I headed over to the self-pickup order area. The process is to find your e-mail indicating that your Kohl's order is ready. You click a link in the message and follow the steps where you say that you're at the store. You then get a pickup spot number to fetch your order. Mine was 265. It clearly had my name labelled on the paper bag with handles. I was happy. I didn't buy anything on top of my pickup order. I did enjoy browsing around to check out fashion trends. I am more of a classic person when it comes to clothing. However, I saw shorter jackets with large pockets being trendy. I probably have a couple of jackets at home that I can pull out and look equally as trendy for a brief moment... haha! I make it a habit to check out purses. I liked everything from floral prints, to heart-shaped purses. The bedroom decor section was a lot of fun. I liked seeing clouds and rainbows as neat pieces. There was a rainbow abacus that was cool, but was sort of broken. I fixed it by placing the metal arc back into a socket in the wooden base. If it weren't that messed up, I would have bought it because it was cool and geeky. It was wonderful returning to this store. I am pleased that it's still standing. It was great shopping here again. It's pretty clean, and they're not too bad at keeping things organized. They're always helpful, and of course, Target is a great store where you can find some of the best deals. Their cartwheel program means you can find some real bargains. They implement their mask policy. They also try to make sure everyone stays six feet apart and limit the lines that you're in. They wipe down the areas where you cash yourself out. They also have online order and pickup. It's a godsend if you don't want to go inside. They bring your order right out to your car and load it in the backseat or trunk for you.

Upon grabbing it and turning it right side up, I noticed the packaging was ripped and damaged. So I immediately told him this was a gift and asked if he could get me another one instead whose packaging wasn't damaged. Luckily he did. I realize that he probably wasn't the one who originally pulled it off the shelf in the first place, but it seems a little deceitful that this location thinks it's ok to give damaged items to drive up orders, especially when it was directly purchased from a gift registry.
