She showed us the best ways to work on calming things down when visitors arrive, and also provided ways our children can help be involved training - and making sure our dogs are responding to small children in appropriate ways. She had so much knowledge to share, and seemed to pick up on their personalities very quickly. I am so grateful we were able to get on her calendar so quick after her year of traveling. We will definitely be referring her to anyone we know looking for a dog trainer. Hank and Waffles look forward to their next session.

Anna gave us so many tools that our girl ACTUALLY responded to. She brought out the sweet dog that we see all the time, but others don't because of how excited and anxious she gets over everything. We learned a ton about reading body language and how to help build our dogs confidence so she can enjoy more of this world. Anna was super funny and was constantly teaching us things about our dogs and how to read them and reminding us that we are doing good! Not once did we feel judged or insecure about anything. we look forward to our next training session!

Absolutely exceptional breeder!…read more I got my second Mini Aussie from LLA about 3 years ago and am about to get another - absolutely can't recommend them enough. In an industry where there are a lot of poor breeding practices, especially with what has become a popular breed, it becomes so important to make sure you have a really reputable breeder. LLA's professionalism, genuine love for their dogs, and commitment to responsible breeding are exceptional. Having owned Mini Aussies now for 18 years, I'm super picky about where I get my dogs! They really put the welfare of their puppies above all else when selecting adopters and I love that they don't dock their dog's tails as well as provide Volhard testing results so you can really match the right drive dog for your family and lifestyle. To sum up, I highly recommend Lucky Little Aussies for anyone seeking a trustworthy and dedicated Toy/Mini Aussie breeder.

Karen is a true gem!! If I could give more than 5 stars I…read morewould. I rescued my bulldog Bowie 2 years ago at 1.5 years old. He had NO training. Didn't even know his name! I've had bulldogs in the past and had no problem with their training. Of course they were stubborn, but they were obedient. Bowie is a wild, active and very athletic energetic bulldog (not what anyone would expect from a bulldog). When we met Karen, he was pulling me through the park, had no interest in me or any respect for boundaries. I couldn't leave him alone without him barking continuously, had to leash him the whole time around my nieces and nephews. I was completely stressed and defeated. I was failing this innocent dog. Karen and I discussed a plan and agreed upon weekly sessions. It wasn't easy but it was 10000% worth it. After multiple sessions, some boarding and time put in "at home", he walks very well on leash, can even be trusted to be off leash in familiar areas, comes when called, sits, downs(with treats), stays, goes to his "place", can be crated without an issue, and most importantly can be around my nieces and nephews without worry! My elderly mom can walk him on her own, he's even patient with her going up and down stairs. I leave him to go to work, without any issues. I bring him to restaurants, to stores, anywhere he can go he does. Thank you to Karen, her knowledge, introducing proper tools, teaching me and her encouragement, support and patience I have a complete different dog. I can whole heartedly say I have my soul dog. It is not easy to find someone you can trust and that you feel safe leaving your fur baby with. Karen gives you that peace.

I'm disappointed to leave such a poor rating. I was really looking forward to getting my dog in…read moreagility here. My review is not for the classes but just the overall customer service. I signed my dog up online for agility 2 weeks before the class was scheduled to start. I did not receive any receipt or confirmation, but the money was withdrawn from my account. I did not hear anything from Competition Canine so I went ahead and called the day before his class was set to start, just so I could confirm. The person on the phone informed me that the class was cancelled! And was not even apologetic. They told me that the trainer was supposed to reach out and they would have her reach out to me. That would have been nice to know that the class was cancelled, I don't think it's too much to send out a simple email or text message. I'm just glad I didn't drive all the way out there to show up to a cancelled class. Well another week goes by and they finally let me know via email that I can sign up for another class or get a refund. I responded to their email asking for specifics regarding the other class that they had available as an option. I did not hear anything back. So another week goes by and at this point I'm not interested in their business so I send them another email asking for a refund for the class. I still have not heard anything back! I had to contact my bank to dispute the charge due to Competition Canine's negligence or just lack of customer service. I just don't understand how they can run a business like this. Not only were they incredibly inconsiderate of my time (if a class is cancelled that's ok, but just let me know), but to withdraw the money from my account and not respond to my inquiries? Seems fraudulent to me...I'd rather go elsewhere where there is real and considerate communication.

He's very spoiled and gets separation anxiety (and me too...) so I wanted the best for him.
