I wanted to make sure I was doing the exercises correctly but she was not watching my form or how I was moving to ensure I was moving the correct parts and not favoring the good side like you tend to do .. even when I repeatedly asked her to do so. I did not see many of the PTs wipe down the equipment from one user to the other. NASTY!!

On the very first day, I received an evaluation which the front desk charged me $80 for. I continued going a few weeks after and had no problems until I started paying for an hour of physical therapy and was getting sent home 10/15 minutes early every time. Because of this, I stopped going (my last visit was around 1/29/25). Two months later (on 3/27/25), I receive a bill for $35. I called the billing department and spoke to the rudest person I have ever encountered on a phone call. I politely asked why I was being charged $35 when I was paying up front before each session every time and she said it was because I received therapy the day I got the evaluation. Firstly, I did not receive any therapy. They had me stand on one foot and balance for like 30 seconds and then had me do some stretches that lasted no more than 5 minutes. I was then sent home and assumed that was a part of the "evaluation." I visited about five more times after this and was never informed that I owed money for therapy from the first day. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very argumentative and just kept saying that I owe $35 because I received therapy on the evaluation day which I did not. I actually insisted that THEY owe me money for sending me home early every time I went. I would also like to note that although $35 is not a lot, it is the principle of the matter that they are requesting this two months later and did not say a single word to me when I continued visiting after the initial visit. Again, there was no therapy performed on this day and if anything, it lasted no more than 5 minutes. I would advise anyone requiring orthopedic therapy to take their business elsewhere and do NOT go to Cora Physical Therapy.

I happen to see Hunters Creek's building from across the parking lot of my father's Assisted Living and quickly called for a tour. The first voice I heard was that of Diana, who is the receptionist at the front of the nursing home. It was her cheerful and sweet voice that made me smile and feel comfortable With the possibility of him staying there for rehab. Rosie, Michelle, Jacqueline, Trish, Ann, Jessi, and Diamond are all the team players In the business offices. You will never find more compassionate and dedicated individuals. There is nothing they will not do to help you with your loved one if they stay here. I know them each by name because of the individualized services they provide and the contact that they pride themselves on. I'm deeply grateful for this team of healthcare administrators. The nursing staff, Including certified nursing assistants, and the facility cleaning/ Maintenance team, Are some of the most dedicated staff you will come upon. As I visit my father daily, I'm always quick with a hello and a smile to each, and every one of them, knowing what they do throughout the day to care for the patients. The people we are closest to, thanks to their incredible level of care for my father, are Ariana, Anetide, Elaine, Javaline (Sp?) and so many more! All of the nurses/CNA are at the top of their professional game and I am grateful! I love the nursing team so much That I always leave a basket of snacks and goodies in my father's room for them to grab and know that they are appreciated. It is the very least I can do for what they take on each and every day. The Nutrition team works hand-in-hand with families to make sure that patients get the food that not only is most nutritious but find favorites to include on their trays each day. My father lived on grilled cheese when he first arrived because that was his comfort food. He could ask for it at any time of day and one would be delivered to him. David, The nutrition manager, Called me personally to get information on my father and his favorites that might be included each day. Something is simple as cornflakes on a breakfast tray makes my father, so happy and encourages him to eat. I'm so grateful to this team for seeing to my father's dietary needs. Finally, If your loved one is here for rehab Count yourself lucky. The rehab team is Encouraging, Kind, Compassionate, Skilled, And Lovely human beings. I am eternally grateful to this team ( Ren, David, and Jeffrey we see most often) who have to deal with my sweet but grumpy Father on a daily basis. Their humor and constant encouragement, have helped him regain some of his strength after a lengthy illness. The support team to the rehab team also need to be recognized for their attention to detail on paperwork and knowledgeable alternatives when Patients need a little extra help. I can't recommend Hunters Creek nursing home enough for any long-term care or rehab needs. While not absolutely perfect, No company is, They do excel in the areas that are most important. They made a friend stay in their bed for a week when there was nothing wrong with them. They could walk fine but after staaying in the bed for a week they were so weak they needed a walker to walk. Instead of making the patient stronger they made them weaker. They have very little care about the health of the patients.

I felt that our baby was being handled with care. We were given clear directions and were even allowed to record the session! The office was very clean & they even offered complimentary coffee/tea/flavored water, etc. The price was very reasonable, and I felt we got our money's worth out of the appointment. It felt like a genuine experience and I'm thankful for direction on how we can help our baby at home with exercises.

I was very concerned that he would not Want me after receiving a bottle. Dr. Beckman was cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and very positive that 1) baby was born knowing how to latch on to me...we just needed to remind him. And 2) baby should have no problem switching back-and-forth between nipple and bottle it was just a matter of strengthening the muscles that were weak. That was such a relief for a first time mommy. She went though a series of simple tests and gave us exercises to practice. Three days later he had his first decent latch. And ever since then it's been getting better and more consistent with longer stretches of time. We are not even two weeks since our visit with Dr. Beckman and today we've done more breast-feeding than pumping! Dr. Beckman and associates are professional, friendly, and prompt. Her process is backed by science and research, and carried out with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this office. Baby and I are forever grateful.

It hurts my heart to feel like this, but keep your child away from any BrightStart Centers! We were…read morepromised that this center could assist with Speech, OT, and Feeding issues. Instead, we encountered negligence. Our child was unsupervised on the transportation bus and managed to access a bag left unattended by a nurse, containing an open bottle of medicine, which he then drank entirely. When we were informed by the director, the response was that this incident was a "learning opportunity" for the staff and they will revise the rules. There were incidents where another child bit and assaulted ours, which was dismissed as the other child having behavior issues, according to a staff member. Our child frequently came home with bruises and scratches. When we asked why we weren't informed, excuses such as "We're doing our best" were made. This is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care facility, not a daycare. Initially, promises were made, but throughout our child's time here, we've faced ongoing issues with certain staff and management. Furthermore, they refuse to continue services if they "feel" they are no longer necessary, despite recommendations from our child's doctors, Hospital Homebound representatives, and OCPS. We will be withdrawing our child and seeking a safer center that takes responsibility and holds itself accountable, rather than revising rules only after a child is injured, with the most recent incident occurring on June 4th, 2024. Due to legal reasons, we are not allowed to post proof of our experience. However, we hope this reaches past, present and future parents, as we are concerned for other children and their wellbeing. It is unfortunate that we had to end our relationship with them like this because our son grew to love the children who attend there. The fact of the matter is that a child with serious behavioral issues, who should be receiving appropriate medical support, is the reason why my son cannot attend. Blaming our child for this other child's behavior is unacceptable. Mom and Dad will make it our mission to share our experience on every platform possible!!
