    Thank you for your reply Darlene. Your response is, once again, dishonest. You NEVER discussed the treatment depths, energy levels, and adjustments made based on each person's unique facial structure, or the use of macro-focused ultrasound and radiofrequency. You very clearly told me in text that you could not answer those questions and needed verification with your boss. You did however spend A LOT of time on explaining the use of a special massage technique that takes away the need for numbing and causes less pain - and upselling me to a bigger treatment plan which would require that I come in every week for 4-6 weeks which is consistent with other reviews on here. You've never seen my skin in person for an assessment - and somehow still pushed such a extensive treatment. That's why I asked those follow up questions in my text message to begin with. To confirm the things that were not addressed. This is in plain text for anyone that is interested to see. While I did expect a response, if I wasn't already concerned with your business ethics, I am now thoroughly concerned with the lack of accountability.

    Hi dear I had a facial here and I am very satisfied with the service. The staff was very kind and professional, and the place was clean and relaxing. My skin felt fresh and smooth after the facial. I really enjoyed my experience and I will definitely come back again. I highly recommend this place.

Everything from the pre-procedure calls to the post-procedure follow-ups and care was good (although there was a lot of room for improvement with post procedure instructions). I had absolutely no complaints the first time around. However, my second visit for a revision procedure was a complete turnaround. From the very beginning, I was clear about the results I wanted to achieve, and while I was reassured many times that my goals were more than achievable, I later found out those results were not possible. I asked if a "tiny tuck" should be a part of my procedure. One nurse said yes, another said the doctor would decide, and a third said she had no idea because she was new. If it had been communicated upfront that the results I was clear about would not be possible, I would have not paid nearly $19,000 (after the initial procedure and the revision). What's even more alarming is the lack of clear post-procedure instructions. Besides wearing the garment and cleaning the incision sites, there was no discussion about lymphatic drainage massages or any other necessary aftercare. The information varied, with different nurses and doctors giving different instructions, leading to confusion and anxiety. Anyway. I returned for a revision because the "mom pouch" I wanted gone was still there after six months, and it looked unflattering. I was also left with a "pothole" above my belly button that made me feel self-conscious when wearing swimsuits and could be seen through any body fitting outfit. Again!!! Prior to my initial procedure, I asked if a "tiny tuck" would be appropriate, but I received conflicting answers from the staff, leaving me confused to be honest and feeling dumb for even asking. During the revision, the customer service experience sharply declined. The nurse assisting me had only been with the practice for less than two months (that's exactly what she said). The garment she provided was way too big (two times to big) and I didn't receive a second recovery foam like I did the first time, so I had to really wash my only one I had and it was just gross with all the blood after the procedure. No one called to schedule my post-op appointment afterward; I had to reach out and was told that since it was my second procedure, I should know what to expect, and I could schedule a video call if I wanted for the nurse to take a look at how I was healing, but it felt dismissive. "If I wanted to".... Like, WHAT?! My mind was blown. Of course I would want to! When I finally connected with the same nurse who performed my revision, I tried to address my concerns--especially about the "potholes" and the lingering "mom pouch." She dismissed it as swelling, and when I asked about the video call, she said it wasn't necessary. So that call wasn't even a video call and she didn't take a look at my body or healing at all. She didn't even ask me to send pictures, at the very least. When I asked about an in-office appointment for the three month post visit, she said someone would call me to schedule it "later". It's been three months now, and I never received that call. I feel incredibly unhappy because I paid for a revision surgical fee, which I believe I shouldn't have had to pay, only to still have the "mom pouch" and now more "potholes" than before. I went into this process hoping to regain my confidence and improve my body image, but I'm coming away feeling worse than before. I'm so sad, dissatisfied, and disappointed. I also feel robbed of my money. If they couldn't achieve the results I was clear I wanted and asked about many times, they should have been honest. Instead I wasted my money.

Had I known in advance I wouldn't have wasted my time . Ultimately I paid a lot of money to be unhappy . I would definitely do research before dropping a ton of money and in this economy !

She supported my choices completely and made me feel confident in the kind of birth experience I wanted. Because of her, we felt confident and grounded, not overwhelmed. She helped us create a birth plan that the hospital team actually complimented, which says a lot about how thorough and thoughtful she is. During delivery, Jamee was exactly who we needed by our side. She stayed calm, encouraging, and completely present the entire time. She coached me through pushing in a way that my husband could never do! I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an amazing doula. We are definitely going to use her for our next baby!

However, I felt the need to share this because it was unsafe and extremely stressful for me, and I don't want others to have the same experience. From the very beginning, when I first tried to set up an appointment, it took a couple of weeks from my initial phone call to actually schedule the first session. During that time, there were multiple conversations with Becky that did not result in an appointment being booked. I repeatedly shared my availability and other details, such as whether I wanted numbing cream, but when we would reconnect it often seemed like the information had not been retained, making the process disorganized and time-consuming. Becky also texted me using her personal phone which added to the lack of professionalism and made communication feel scattered. These early red flags made me consider canceling and requesting a full Groupon refund, but I decided to give them a chance. After my first session, I developed an infection. I waited 10 days to allow my body to heal naturally while cleaning the area diligently and following proper aftercare. When it did not improve, I went to urgent care, where a doctor confirmed it was infected. I had to pay for both topical and oral antibiotics in addition to the cost of the service. Based on my careful aftercare and the lack of healing, it was clear this was not due to my own negligence. I have had prior laser tattoo removal experience with another business and did not have this type of reaction, which made this outcome especially concerning. I attempted to email the owner to inform them, but the email address bounced back, adding to the ongoing communication difficulties. Although Becky was kind during our interactions, the overall experience felt disorganized from start to finish. I regret going through with the first session, given the outcome.

    My father has now lived at The Watermark for one year. During that time, the experience has been…read moreinconsistent--at times acceptable, and at other times deeply concerning. The cost of care is extremely high, and additional fees are added for things that should be basic. If a resident exceeds a certain number of medications, there is an extra charge simply to administer them--despite these being small, routine pills. If staff are asked to ensure a resident showers, that also results in additional charges. Housekeeping is supposed to be included, yet there have been multiple occasions when my father's bedding was not washed, leaving him sleeping in what I would consider unsanitary conditions. In addition, there are many times when I visit and the fronts of the cabinets are covered in greasy fingerprints, as if they have not been cleaned or wiped down in months. After his first year, his rent increased by over $300 per month. The increase is for no other reason than to get more money. Just because you can raise the rent doesn't mean that you should. He hasn't been given more care, he hasn't utilized any of the facilities on the grounds. In fact he sits in his room and just watches television all day. The food hasn't gotten better or worse, he hasn't gotten more care or less. So again a rental increase is not necessary. Compounding this issue, prior leadership sent me the rent increase letter that failed to include the discount he receives, making it appear as though the increase was nearly $1,500. This caused unnecessary alarm and confusion and further eroded trust. There have also been numerous occasions when I have specifically asked staff to please not allow my father to simply sit alone in his room in front of the television all day. Despite these requests, I have not seen any meaningful effort to engage him in the community or encourage participation in activities. This lack of social engagement is particularly concerning and directly impacts his quality of life specifically since he has dementia and Alzheimer's, social interaction is extremely important to help the disease progress less aggressively. Many of these issues stemmed from prior leadership, which I understand is no longer in place. I believe I can personally attest to at least one reason for the high staff turnover. On one occasion, I called and asked to speak with a specific leader. I was placed on hold, and when the receptionist returned, she said she was transferring me. When this leader picked up the phone, she answered with a curt and rude "what," as though she believed she was speaking to the receptionist rather than a family member. Speaking to staff--or anyone--in that manner is completely unacceptable. When I clarified who I was and why I was calling, her tone barely improved. The interaction was unprofessional and left a lasting impression. While the care staff themselves appear to want to do a good job, there have been serious lapses. One example was when my father complained of what was dismissed as a sunburn, when in reality he had a severe case of hives. He later ended up in the emergency room while traveling. When we returned from that trip, we found his bathroom had flooded. Rather than immediately sending someone to clean and sanitize his apartment, staff was told to offer to him in a model room for the night. This was an unacceptable solution. He had just returned from vacation here he was ill the entire time and wanted to rest in his own apartment--not be displaced. We were also informed that there was no maintenance staff on site at night, which is deeply concerning in a facility of this nature. It took an excessive amount of time for someone to come up and mop the floor, and even then, the area was not sanitized--only mopped--despite the fact that it involved toilet water. I have read many reviews stating that appearances can be deceiving, and unfortunately, that can be true. It is a beautiful new building. There has been significant staff turnover, which I believe was directly related to certain members of leadership who are no longer there. Overall, I am cautiously hopeful that with the leadership changes that have been made, things will improve. However, given the level of cost and the expectations that come with it, meaningful and consistent improvement is not optional--it is required.
