So I have had several fly by night people come by my home with a card to do tree work. These guys showed up after completing work at a neighbors home. They were very polite , friendly and professional. I thought about it for a few days because I had a lot of work to be completed. I finally called and within an hour they showed up. I explained what I needed done and was given a very good price for the work that needed to be done. They completed the work quickly and always asked if the work satisfied my expectations. Eddie and his guys did a great job. The climbed a very tall tree and removed the dead limbs. I felt like his rates were reasonable and the service was pretty quick! He also trimmed a bunch of trees in my neighbors yard and removed a couple of trees - in my opinion, my neighbor's yard looks GREAT now. This category is obviously a hit or miss one. All of us have had people coming by, knocking on the door, hoping to land a gig. Eddie and his company have done work previously in our neighborhood, and first impressions mean so much on these split-second decisions as to whether you don't answer the door, answer the door and send them on their way, or engage them if they've hit you at the exact, right moment. From second one, Eddie was the real deal. My intuition (for once!) was right. The attention to detail, the use of new, quality tools, inquiring along the way if there was anything else that needed to be done, and the pledge to return the next few days if I spotted anything missed was above and beyond the call. We've been in our house 21 years, and some trees had never been attended to until now, so you gotta know there were some difficult ones to deal with. No problem for these guys.
