In addition, my data would be unrecoverable. So, after doing my own research into logic board repairs for my specific model, I learned that it was possible to fix my MacBook and recover my data. So, after searching for local specialists, I found ThinqMac. My first conversation with one of their employees immediately made me feel that I was in good hands. The gentleman corroborated a lot of the information I had found out through my own research. The technicians ran some tests on my computer and eventually sent it out to a company that specializes in logic board repair. I raced to Verizon to help me back up, they held my phone for 8 hours and said it was backed to ICloud and I was good. They were incorrect. I went to Apple the next day to help me complete what Verizon could not do and they told me "yes everything is transferring over to your new phone you are good" then sent me home. My pics were not transferring and then my phone went dead. I don't care about anything other than pics and videos of my little girl, so relaxing I may have lost all of her .. now I'm hysterical crying and went back to Apple where they turned me away because I didn't have an appointment and told me to come back in an hour. With nowhere to go I did. They then said they could not help me since the phone was dead. They could try to restore it but probably could not help me. They were right this time, they did not help me at all. This is Apple in Stamford btw if you are wondering. The girls name was Raja or something? The check in girl - nasty. I found Gabe at Mobile Rescue in Norwalk and he not only saved ALL of my data.. he sat with me for 2 hours and helped me transfer everything I wanted over to my new phone. He's patient, kind, smart and the type of person you don't come across much these days. You can trust him, I will not go anywhere else EVER again.
