I went with the Crispy Cancun sandwich (fried chicken, chipotle aioli, pickles and roasted corn topped with cilantro on a challah bun) and the garlic parm fries. Everything was really good. The fries were doused in a lot of sauce and even a bit of garlic butter but miraculously they didn't get soggy. The sandwich was juicy and crispy and the bun and toppings went with it all perfectly. I went with the mild flavor as I can't do much spice these days and it was perfectly seasoned. I also went with one of their slushes, the apricot mango, and I LOVED it. I'd come back for that alone! Price is a bit on the higher side for fast casual, it was around $30 for all of it, but it was delicious and prices are going up everywhere these days so I get it and don't knock them for it. But it's worth mentioning if you're reading this and on a bit of a budget. That said, they do have some combos and items that could make it much more cost effective. And coming with friends will make it all easily splittable as the portions are generous.

The district sauce is kinda like Big Mac sauce. The buns weren't bad but also weren't delicious. We got a Reese's and chocolate milkshake. It was light, but not super chocolatey. Flavor was also a little weird for some reason.. malty maybe? I like malt, but that's just a heads up. A "district shake" is when you combine two flavors, but it doesn't say that on the menu. The fries and onion rings were kinda cold, but the Cajun seasoning on the fries was good. I like the flavor shots you can add to your fountain soda. Overall, pretty good place but maybe over priced for the lack of food "wow factor."

We ordered salad, falafels, lentil soup, French fries, rice, chicken, and hummus. The falafel was different from the usual falafel you get elsewhere, It was much softer and had such a delicious, moist texture, now.... they cook the best lentil soup I've ever had in my life!! French fries were cooked perfectly. The chicken breast was also really GOOD!! My husband ordered a full portion of chicken, and he was blown away by how flavorful and tender it was. And the hummus is an absolute MUST. I LOOOVE IT!!!! We ordered way too much because everything looked so good, and at some point we literally had to tell ourselves, "Okay, we need to stop eating." Lol We live in Chicago, and I tbh.... can't think of a Mediterranean restaurant there that compares to this place. Plus service and staff was great, and the aesthetic of the place is beautiful, super chic!
