You never really know where you'll stumble upon a true sense of community, and this gym is absolute proof of that. I've been to countless studios, gyms, and boutique fitness spaces -- some incredibly bougie, some incredibly pricey -- and yet the kind of community they wish they had is exactly what La Mariposa has already built. It's genuine, it's tight-knit, and it's been nurtured for years. During my visit, I met members who have been working out together for over two decades, which says everything you need to know about the atmosphere here. The class itself was fantastic, the energy was great, and everyone was so welcoming. It's the kind of place that instantly reminds you that community isn't created by fancy equipment or high-end decor -- it's created by people. A truly wonderful find. I left feeling energized, grateful, and inspired to come back.

Location is easy to find but parking isn't always available. I had to park at the nearest parking garage which wasn't too bad. Upon walking into the studio I noticed it was very clean and organized. The young woman in the reception area was very sweet and greeted me. The class and instructor was so much fun but I was totally out of shape and dying. I will definitely sign up for another class because the instructor is super motivating and doesn't let you fail!

Turbo Kick really gets me excited to come back every week - which is saying something for the person who usually agrees with Fat Amy, "don't put me down for cardio". I love to book their classes through ClassPass, but no matter where you book through, the classes are affordably priced. Highly reccomend, and hope to see my fellow Yelpers in classes soon! BONUS TIP: It's also just a short walk away from one of my favorite healthy eats in town - Urban Fresh! Perfect way to make a little afternoon out of your downtown trip. I've tried a few different Pilates studios before, but Solana stands out in every way, the quality of instruction, the vibe, and the community. I signed up for unlimited two weeks of classes for $20, a deal even for this typically affordable town. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. If you are new to hot yoga it seemed like they were ready to go into a bit of an introduction, but since I shared that I have a lot of experience they quickly moved on and had me on my way. My favorite part was at the end of the class when we were all given cold towels with peppermint essentials oils; I laid mine on my face during shavasana and then wiped down my face, neck, and arms for a refreshing drive home. The bathrooms have showers if that's more convenient.

Both studios have organized and well-trained instructors. The music is a nice touch - very motivating! and there are a lot of classes to choose from each day. I rarely had to be on a wait list and even then, I always got in. The classes always start and end the same (at least the ones I took) which was odd to me at first, but then I started to really like it. It is a nice relief to know you are getting feet in straps after a challenging class!

Alright like any speakeasy , there's some things you should know before coming to your first class ... Parking - OMG This lot is tiny and very limited. There's now QR scan codes to pay for parking , DON'T PAY - use scan codes for FREE parking at front desk. Check in - You will check in around at the newly remodeled front lobby . It's gorgeous ! At the front desk you can scan code for FREE parking . It's not a quick process , so come EARLY. You will have to input a card & plate number , yada yada & of course it's not the go Tucson parking app , it's metropolis ughhh. Entrance - speakeasy spin is located through a side door adjacent to parking , look for a small sign in window . Go in and up the stairs after you check in at the front lobby . Restrooms - UGH You need a code and it's down a hall , then down another hall and it's shared with showers . Of course I walked in on someone nude and changing ! Whoops Equipment - ask what you need before spin starts it's not listed on a board or anything , halfway through I had no idea I needed a band so instructor gave me hers but it was light resistance, didn't feel much . Bikes- Hello Kaiser bikes ! Most spin studios in town use stages bikes but this studio has true Kaiser cycling bikes with universal pedals , cycle shoe clip ins on one side and sneakers will fit into the other side . Kaiser bikes are known for being tough to adjust sometimes but they're a smooth ride . DROP IN - $21 , not bad for a fuss free drop in. Overall- the class I took overall was a bit mellow to be my vibe at 7am , I do prefer a drill sergeant ready to party on a bike in the morning . However this instructor was sweet and helpful . I have practiced Pilates at both locations for over a year and the central studio offers the same great experience. The studio is spacious with a peaceful atmosphere and ample parking. The instructors swap between locations which is great because you have the ability to switch environments up if you need a change. Sometimes when there is an expansion, it feels like a decline of the quality of services but that is absolutely not the case with Friday- same friendly smiles, great playlists, and challenging workouts!

I enjoy the infrared heated classes at yoga pod & the variety of times / classes offered . They do offer child care & they actually have the best retail I've seen at a yoga studio in Tucson. Conveniently located next to Ren Coffee house , also a favorite ! You'll find 3 showers , 3 bathrooms , lockers , vanity spaces , and ALL the amenities ! Just bring yourself ! They have mats , towels , and an everything you need for a great workout .
