The chess school is very professional, their students win in most of the competitions. They have two locations and a few hundred students (300-400?). The instructors are strict, the classes are oriented on pairing games and problem/puzzle solving. Although the learners and teachers are both Chinese, the classes are in English.
The facility has 3 separate rooms, 2 classrooms and a computer station. The walls are in need of fresh paint, the bathroom sink is chipped and broken in some areas, the rug is in a huge need of cleaning. The center really needs some touch and care. It is a children center after all (that is the reason I took away a star).
Location is great, close to the Asian grocery stores, restaurants, businesses, and to the Puente Hills Mall. read more
